It is a nice set-up, but I would never have it all in the open like that, especially with no tinted windows.

actually this is my ride.I make custom fiberglass enclosures for the gto trunks. Now that being said lets go with this list...
1.I cant do the trunk just cause i do everyones trunk boxes so that wouldnt show any of my skill or imagination..

2.the items are not in view. With the tint i have on my car you cant see the box unless its pointed out.

3.seating capacity.i dont need a back seat, plus it takes to long to get in and out of.

4.I am the only one around with this setup.I believe its called originallity.

5...NOW FOR THE REAL KICKER,I LISTEN TO COUNTRY AND ROCK,i have no ghetto *** rattles and bump in the trunk.i have a great clean sweet sounding system,to match my sweet sounding supercharged engine.

thanks for the compliments guys this took along time to do and i am very proud of it.I did all the work myself and had a buddy help me put the box in.This system was built for my personal liking so im happy with it.plus i have the ability to do something like this out of my garage and still have a shop tell me it was one of the nicest they had seen.

but thanks for the compliments and if i end up in a show ill post results ......

heh, and even BETTER job coming to the....AHEM...."Stereo & Electronics" forum to knock someone else's hard work (and awesome work, i might add) and accomplishments. so what if he removed the back seats? it's not your car, so why should you care? you're obviously not anyone that will likely be riding in it, anyway..... And by the way, just because someone has subwoofers doesn't mean they have "lots of bass"....subwoofers produce bass, that doesn't mean they are bass...and there's this nifty little thing called an equalizer (or the "bass" control on the head unit) that gives you control over how much bass is put out.

tha joker, very nice work man, i bet it sounds sick, too...

thanks for the compliments guys it means alot i worked hard to have an original ONE OF A KIND system, and now i do..

As for the guys who dont care for it its cool i respect your opinion.I know its not for some people, but the time and effort i put into it speaks volumes for me personally.I am one of the guys that says screw it and quits, but i promised myself i would finish it...and i did almost..

im gonna trim it with red around the amps instead of the black, just to make it stand out a little more.As it sits you dont see it unless your looking for it.

Like i said its not for everyone, but if you dont like it at least appreciate the workmanship that went into it.It sounds great real clean and has a great thump if i so desire. The dvd/nav unit is awesome once im completley finished ill post a few more pics of it.And again thanks guys

To each his own. Personally I think its stupid but its not mine. I would llike to know how it sounds. Is it just loud or is it nice sounding. Diamond are high quality but the location of those speakers just seems like a wall at a stereo store. Not sure the accoustics have been properly thought about.I can totally appreciate the workmanship and effort in that project though. Nice work!
