Alternate Route for Subs - what do you think?
I could bear to lose the T-top space by buying one of those t-top subs, so i built a custom box with my friend, bought two 10" alpine type R's and stuck this in the back...hits beautifully, and talk about custom, what do you think??

+1 on the home stereo look. In fact I would go as far as saying 70s home stereo.
+1 on stealth box.
+1 on getting stolen. I don't care where you live if you go to a mall your chances are not good.

Your stuff is never safe, if someone wants what you have they will take it.

even if it is bolted down....who really cares once they bust the hatch glass in (hopefully if someone goes for it they're more gentle than that) - they're still likely to get something anyway if they have time.
Custom = made according to the specifications of an individual -- so of course nobody can argue that one
I agree with all of the above posts. However....if you really want that trunk space and original t-top storage, two 12"s isn't the best thing to go for since most wont perform well or fit in stealth boxes...and the only other options are the hatch shelf of rear seats. It's MUCH better to make sacrifices such as stock t-top storage, or 2 10s in stealth boxes rather than end up with and install like this.
