Default Please Help Me!!!

Ok i just got finished searching this forum for about an hour and yes there's a **** load of threads talking about gauges but i didnt find any of them helpful. I have a few questions. I looked at all the sponsors and couldnt really find the gauges I am looking for, most likely skipped over some or missed them on the site. So i am looking for digital gauges, but here's the noob question which i know im gonna get a "search" comment for but remember i did search. Which gauges should i get for a full bolt-on car .. Im going to be really modding up my car this summer and right now since my car is in storage and im getting $400 a month for allowance and im working i thought id start ordering some of the **** now since im not paying for GAS! So im looking on summitracing and they have a lot of digital gauges just dont know which ones to get, i want a blue LED style and what's a good brand that's affordable, thinking about the digital auto meter cobalts..please help . Im ordering a triple pillar cluster so give me some ideas of what gauges i should get. Also i read some threads on installing, some saying it's easy some saying it's hard, my question is, would it be somewhat probable for someone that has very little experience with electronics to be able to install these, are the instructions they give you actually DOABLE haha because if so than i can do it.

Appreciate it
-David

well water temp is a popular choice, oil temp, oil pressure, trans temp, fuel pressure, nitrous pressure, air/fuel(narrow or wide band), volts, boost(fi apps), i am sure i am leaving off some. it al depends on your setup what you want to monitor. i have a 2 gauge pod with water temp and a/f gauge. i used autometer pro comps and am very happy. i did the install myself with no issues.

And since im manuel im not gonna get trans temp....i just need to find somewhere that tells me what all these actually read haha. Thanks for the help btw.

ok i think im going to go with interceptor gauge, Oil pressure, and Water Temp. This sound like a good setup? But what exactly does fuel pressure and oil pressure read, like since im gonna be making a full bolt-on car probably by the end of summer is this what i am going to need. I dont want to get gauges that i dont know how to read. I tried searching google for this but didnt find anything. Sorry for the dumb questions but id much rather ask them now and know what im buying and looking at, than buy them and just have them for show because im too dumb to know what im looking at haha

wideband a/f is very accurate and you need a kit for it. a sensonr go's in a bung on the exhaust and reads your ratio of air to fuel. lean vs rich. narrow band is kinda a cool looking flashy light that bounces back a forth not really to helpful for most, just looks cool.

yea im trying to figure all this out as well. Like im going to be well hopefully full bolt on by the end of summer and i want to have gauges that are just for motor, i dont want to spend money on a gauge that should only be installed for nitrous/sc/turboed cars.
