Never had a problem with my opti. Ones that do probably just bought abused and neglected cars

The two LT1 cars I had I bought brand new. Both of them had to have the Opti's replaced the first year I had them. I envied the people that never had a problem with them. Lucky bastards.

I just have to know. Why an LS1 instead of a 383 LT1?
I knew that was coming eventually? Long story short I wrapped my 99 Z around a bank of unmoveable dirt..lol The engine and tranny were good so I found a stripped 94 to do the swap. Didn't really like the idea at first but after seeing the way it hooks on stock suspension(I guess due to weight transfer), I love it. And of course I'd take an lsx over an ltx any day of the week.

thats classified... but I'll say its the only good one left in western North Carolina

I will say there was a 94 Gt there with the letters POS on the windshield. He said he bought an engine for $300 (5.0 based motor). He sprayed 175 shot and outran me to the tune of 7.2x..not bad for a POS

Funny story...Being the complete computer unsavy that I am..when I started an account at home I didn't know I could use the same screen name at work. In retrospect it was silly, but I'm too lazy to change it, so I'm powershifter at work and speedshifter at home. People have only caught it twice in 2 years because the names are so close. The names mean the same thing, but around my area we call powershifting...speedshifting.

The only lt1 I had which was also in a 94Z28, had to have the opti replaced the week after I bought it. My dad has 3 vehicles with lt1s. All needed optis. Got to be one of GM's biggest mess ups. Its not a major deal but seeing as how they're slower than ls1s anyway..I can't justify getting another one

He'd have to be acting like a complete *** for me to actually use that. I just wanted to get a laugh or two.

I might get another one someday. I like the looks of the LT1 WS6 better than mine. They also sound better to me. If I could find a really nice one I'd probably get it.
