I might get another one someday. I like the looks of the LT1 WS6 better than mine. They also sound better to me. If I could find a really nice one I'd probably get it.
the only 4th gen fbody i would consider buying (which i was) would be a ls1 ws6. those cars look so evil its great.

If I get a new dd, it will either be an 06 GTO or an ls1 Ws6. I'm going to keep the 94 as a toy as its a really fun car to drive on the street or strip

I agree.

I like the LS SS"s too...but I'd take a WS6 over an SS.

I all ready have a 01 WS6. I love it but its kind of busy (styling wise) compared to the LT1 WS6 cars. I like them both and I'll have one of each.

i totally agree i really like the mean look of the LS1 WS6's but they are rather busy, the LT1 WS6's are mean looking and still simple enough that it doesnt draw your eye to each and every little line on the car like the LS1's do which makes it hard to just sit back and enjoy the car as a whole as there is alot of little things going on.

Look in the sig of the post above you. White is lt1, pewter is ls1. You can see the difference even without a detailed pic.

What does a pullied Cobra with a few minor bolt ons run at the strip? I'd like to set my goal towards knocking off pullied Cobras and anything from the factory that runs better than I do already. So basically I'm shooting for high 10's. I think a cam and a healthy dose of nitrous should get me there.

Pullied cobras, from what I've seen on here, anywhere from 117-122. 150 shot+ cam, and the fact your car is kind of light...you shouldn't have a problem I think.

Now..back to the original topic of the thread:

Here is a picture of the Cobra I ran- http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/orde...L010102&po=102

Its funny how all of his friends busted his chops for not being able to outrun me...yet the one who was giving him the hardest time was the one he handed the keys to. This guy(who said he had a mid 5 sec 427 Fairlane back at home) not only couldn't best the Cobra owner, he was 3 tenths off of his time. I guess once he got out there he didn't want to take a chance on breaking his friend's car. I can understand that. Made him look bad though.

Same. LS WS6 is just so mean looking. I was never a fan of the LT T/As and WS6s.

No problem man. WHen it comes to 93-97, I only know maros. I dont' know jack about the pontiacs (firebird, TA, WS6, or even firehawk - been a while since I've seen an F.H.). ALOT of LS's around here. not too many LT's anymore.

Not only was he probably afraid of breaking someone else's car, but just because someone can drive one car great, doesn't mean they can do it to another. ALl cars are different.

I agree. I don't think his friend actually expected him to throw him the keys. I know I like a little seat time in any car before I start hammering on it. Besides, I doubt that Fairlane was a stick.
