The 3.4 Whipple is a bad dude. No question about it. KB's "mammoth" looks pretty promising IMO.
My little 2.2 gets me down the track pretty quickly for a noise maker.

Still takes a LOT of getting used to spinning the tires at 80mph on ET Streets . I haven't really looked into the mammoth kit much, any links?

What kind of power is the 3.4 Whipple making for you?

I am curious how the 3.4 Whipple and 2.8 KB compare to a good single or twin turbo kit. I know the 5.4 S/C loves turbo boost!

I was considering the KB for the C5, but having a nitrous car I really want something that has alot more progressive powerband.

Turbos not needed anymore.

Hows 742rwhp with the stock longblock on only 19lbs of boost?

Vortech is even bringing a Twin Screw out soon, look like a mirror of the Whipple though.

Here is another thread with the 3.4 "Crusher Inlet" vs the 2.8 "Mommoth inlet".

Amazing power!

That's a no ******* there. The twin screw chargers are far superior for the street. I wish they made one that fit my car.

My buddy has a T76 on his Cobra (really similar to the hellion kit) it made 680rwhp on pump gas with 14psi. His car runs good its real smooth but with a KB I think I would walk him. I just love the sound of the KB but the vids I have seen of the 3.4 whipple are very impressive. As for the Stage 4 port my clutch should be ok and so should my mafia and stock injectors. At least my buddies was with his stage 4 port and a 2.76 and he made 506rwhp but I have the 2.65 pulley.

You are basically reinforcing my point. Prochargers are great from 4,000rpm and up. My car is 99% street car and it lives under 4,000rpm alot. I'd rather not have a turd at low rpm.

Gears my friend......gears.

But I know what you really mean and I agree 100%. I'd hate to drive a Procharged car daily simply because the constant "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEE" would get on my nerves badly.

I have 3.90's. That's plenty gear with a 26" tire. Prochargers on '03 Cobra suck *** IMO. I would never do that.

You have a good list unless you have emissions I would get the off road H-pipe. And add a good tune to that list you will have a fun car.
