What is wrong with the suspension? I love the new chassis. The turning radius is amazing, the ride and handling is also amazing. Infact I was so impressed that when I test drove one if I closed my eyes I wouldn't have thought I was in a Mustang. (I'm used to the SN95 cars)

um yea handeling suck its got serious under steer then it just bolts into over steer as far as a turning radius um yea thats great for however long it takes to park a car but when your driving like a sports car its got no grip at all umless yuou stay well you know the speed limit and slow down 100 yards befor a turn face it its great for a straight line only

The suspension is kind of weak at that price level man. Come on now you know that. It does drive nice, actually damn nice, but when it comes time to get serious the car just isn't there for you. At least in stock form.

plus back in 1998 when my car was made what production mustang would stand up to it i mean in year 2000 you can say the SVT cobra R could but um yea that about it

GT, um hell no
saleen, hahaha
rouch, nice but no
cobra, come on please
bullet, what the hell is that anyway but still no

ford decided they'd make a fast one once the F-body was layed to rest and they still couln't make tru power they had to go to a supercharger to make it fast but i mean it still wasn't much faster then the 2002 WS6

Have you driven one? It actually does better in corners than a straight line. Thats one reason why its stuck in the 12's the weight doesn't help either. Understeer keeps idiots from stuffing it under spirited driving conditions.

OK well I'll just keep enjoying my slow 11 second car, while most mustang owners i know have their cars sitting in the garage or on blocks.

I agree totally. But start modding the GT500 and it will quickly put you (or me) in the rear view mirror. Those 5.4L's are no joke...

As far as suspension goes, if you want to hang with Vettes give Griggs, MM, or Kenny Brown a call.
