Sweating you?
Don't flatter yourself, junior.
And I'd be so ******* bored with a 475 rwhp CTS that about the only thing it would do is collect dust. Must be ballin' for you though...

I would love a 475whp CTS Caddy... Then again I am a simple man with simple needs.. You could defenitely suprise alot of people on the streets in that Caddy Sleeper.......Although the 2009's are about that, don't know just how sleepy it will be...

However, To snorman's credit if all I ever knew was 600whp + sportscars and dragsters I would be bored with the 475whp Caddy too...

Ignorance is bliss......... I have fun in my 330whp Lexus pig myself running nitrous to boot... Now how pathetic is that

chill out snorman! I dont see anyware in the thread were he was talking w/ a chip on his shoulder, He was just giving his own car props... we all love cars and love other peoples cars! win or lose I still love the CTS-V and even your CAR LOT of super toys (by the way let me drive the '87 Regal Limited Turbo-T please). Its not a contest of whos got the bigger ***** unless you wanna meet on the strip which usually causes 2 people to become great friends once its all said and done... or in this case zoooming down the strip!

Thanks for the compliment.

You know the way you talk at times, seems that daddy left the computer on. I didn't see were he was being disrespectful, well not until you started in on him. Snorman has never been a dick like that.

lol i'd much rather laugh all day, than ball up naked
in a corner of a dark room and cry.
i'm a huge movie buff and love to quote
lines, sheeit...that's basically all i ever do.
just keep on topic so the thread can live, and i can go
from build to race...could make for a fun thread.

I've been following your progress for a while! Your car is one of the cars that I've been researching in order jump on the banwagon and buy my self one... As a matter of fact I've spoken w/ you once or twice and also like the in-car-cam rec that you do By the way since you took all the badging off are you going to leave it as a sleeper or are you gonna add some Turbo badging??? I only have 8 or 9 more months left... And you had commented to when I told you that I was getting it in that length of time that a lot could happen in that time but I have also been planning this since the last part of 2006 and got the go-head from the wifey... THe wifey also said that I could get another small loan and put the mallett package on it but I've always wanted it turboed since the car has enough torq to make up durring the lag while its spooling up

You know my Lexus does the same thing...Spins thru the first two gears and cherps in third....I would love to go heads up against that 2006 Caddy... I think I can take it in a short sprint.... Maybe????... You need to throw some sticky fat rears on that Caddy to keep it gripping and moving...

I just wish the body design on the Caddy wasn't so match box looking..I just don't think too many people take that car seriously.....I Love the ride though...Boosted it should be a real blast.....

that was all second gear, i never shifted, i was just goosin the gas.
that ls2 is 400hp/400tq with a t56 tremec 6 speed manual. 373 gears bone stock.
(the first stick shift in a caddy sinse the 1940's)
the general public has no clue the "V" exists or what it means.
i go to car shows and all the vett owners scratch thier heads and mumble,
"how the hell did he shoe horn that ls2 in that car". lol "it's factory", i say, and they
**** there head like a beagle hearing a baby fart.

as far as the base v6 cts it's the number 1 selling car in american history
for its 5 yr run. (1st generation) 03-07

you're 100% right about the cars n/a tq curve and turbo lagg.
i think it's a perfect combo, as if full boost was to come on lower
it would be to hard on driveline, and possible driveline failure.
the maggies are tq monsters that ramp up at 2000rpm's but it's not
needed down low. and they fall on there face upstairs. the turbo
is the perfect FI option for this car.
also, mallett is very pricey for motor work or anything else for that matter.
if money isnt an option, then going that route is by all means a good choice
but if you want to stretch your dollar then perhaps mallett isnt a smart consideration.
i tried to friend you up on utoob and for some reason it didnt take, so i'll request you and maybe have better luck making it stick.
in any event, i'm excited for you that your pumped about this car choice.
i've owned a lot of cars in my day, and this car is instant bliss...i cant explain
how it does what it does, but it does it, and well! i can say it blows my c5
out of the water in 30 different catigories.

better hope one of these "unknown, unheard of" Vs doesnt run you with the bottle, I would say with a midrange cam like the VRX3 and a 150 shot, that thing would abuse you and your pitbull tattoo like Michael Vick. But hey, yours has a fart fan... good for you.

Sorry man, cant stand how cocky you are.

Make it down to the "show-me state", and I will run you all day, whatever roll race you want. both have six speeds, I have a little old 346, you have a turbo LS2, should be easy right?
