So what are the "important stuff"? Don't tell me you have a custom skull head shift **** to go with your ram air intake!!! I'm not looking to have my car wrecked when you go past me so fast. So lay it on me, what are the important stuff?

I'll add that my 2 friends with stroked fox are almost running side by side with me. One is a mild 347ci and other is a 331ci. And not to add that the 347 has a 100shot on top; its a fast ride and its far from an optimal setup.
Oh yeah, I forgot to say that my other friend has a 347ci Fox with 550+hp spinning to 8K...with a 250 shot...not sure if hes fast or not
, but he would be hard to beat with me on juice while hes on motor. Fox can beat the **** outta you..

Look i'm not like the rest of these yahoo's on this thread. We had guy's trailer from pottstown to micky d's before you were around. I'm just curious not here just to wind you up. We had a 2001 ram air som. Now a white tbss from saylorsburg.

Also the place we go every now and then is nothing special at all, sorry if I came off as hostile, I just was uneasy after seeing your post for some reason. Sometimes we go to this road called "Lower Greenhill Road." Its directly across from Buger Hollow Road near PVE and PVI schools right at the intersection with the light. Thats where I raced the Mustang. Last night I had some decent runs on Rt. 209 by the light at Shaffers Schoolhouse Road going to and from Stroudsburg.
In the past week I honestly had more races then I ever had in the time I owned this car.

You guys sure know how to brighten up my evening
If im slow the ponys I turned to glue must be confused and had em in reverse (need driver mod). The only fox bodys that beat my 68 came to the track on a trailer. Making a car faster by modding is fun but every part changed out is only pride for that car and not the camp my friend. Now for the Z28. NO stang Ive ran has beat me. No dought, one that can get the job done are out in town somewhere. I guess. two stangs ive raced recently that come to mind, both had gears, clutch, ex, cai, tires, the eariler one had intake and dyno tune. I pulled both. It wasnt a murder I'll be honest but I won. And this was when i only had the lid. I rev every stang, its just hard to find ones that arent shell shocked from ls1 *** whoopins and look over.

I would have to think that an LS1 would respond better to a cam mod than a 5.0 because LS1 heads have to be way better than stock 5.0 heads. Just my opinion. I'm not about to run out and buy one, but I dig a fox body.
