Your car would have no problem with a non supercharged one. Not to be an *** but I doubt a non supercharged Saleen is much faster than that V6 you raced. All a Saleen is, is a GT Mustang. The Supercharged ones are a GT Mustang with a crappy blower on them. Think stock LS1 territory, maybe alittle slower than a stock LS1. I just laugh when I see a real Saleen. They do look good though! 
But then again, that is an engine that I wouldn't boost anyways considering the weak points it has.

In regards to 99-04 saleen S291SC, they put down roughly 300-310 (pending year). They run 5 pounds with an eaton roots blower. They weigh more than a GT because of the suspension and body kit. They handle in the corners VERY well though. Standard they came with the stock 3.27s, but could be upgraded by saleen to 3.73s.
regarding the OP......I was on my way homes last night and past a Faleen on the highway. My 13 year old daughter caught that it was a fake. I teach my kids well. LOL

Saw a N/A Saleen take off from a right turn, weaving a little bit. I caught up to him smoothly (unlike him) and blipped the throttle. He responded, light went green and we both rolled into it. He got walked.
The other kid had a black with gold striped Shelby wannabe. He was revving a bit, I followed him out of S-Row. It did NOT sound like a V8 so I thought I would mess with him a little. After all, "It's a FUGAZI!!"
He told me it was TURBOCHARGED. Wow I thought. He said 250hp. I told him 400 "I'm at the rear wheel".
Finally we get a light, he puts on his driving gloves! lmao!

That's what I was hoping for. He held up his CAI kit in the car to show me after donning the gloves. Quite frankly, I think he was stock with a fake BOV.
