Got hustled by an 03 cobra lol

the sc definitely screams but honestly its gonna be hard to hear if your behind it or even at his rear bumper...if you watch some vids of pullied cobras you really hear them when the front of their car is right at your door. once they get the front past your car you just hear the exhaust scream.

Well even when he dropped it down a gear right next to me i still couldn't hear it. The owner of the car said its really quiet for some reason. He told me he swapped out the pullies too.

i dunno if it would be a worth while mod for a basic bolt on mach but running meth is basicly like running race gas all the time. i guess you could ramp up the timing a lot.

Yes but there is a point of diminishing power returns when advancing your timing too far on an N/A combo no matter if you are running into knock or not. Meth is usually not very helpful in normal street driven N/A cars because of this. Now a high CR or blown car are a different story.

What about, say, decently high comp for pump gas (11.5 or 12 or so), and at WOT running high timing with the meth? Would that work out for a street car, or still be pointless? I don't know much about meth, so just trying to learn. I know boosted cars like it, especially with the added timing at WOT in full boost, plus a couple more lbs wont hurt.
on a mild n/a build(say under 10.5:1) gains would be small, i think snow advertises a 10 rwhp gain

it would help moreso w/ higher comp/sprayed motors like you said, to say it simply it raises the octane rating aka run a race gas build on pump gas or push a race build further

Yes, exactly. In addition to raising the octane of the fuel, Methanol injection also assists in cooling the intake air charge. This is critical for boosted applications where IAT's are sometimes way above ambient @ WOT depending on the type of forced induction that is being run and how much boost.
