Default 02 Ws6 vs modded gti and mustang gt

I have only had my car for about 3 weeks now and ive been itching to race someone and tonight while me and my girlfriend were just driving around lookin for a place to eat when i see this gti come up from behind and i hear it back fire and he revs it up so im pumped and im ready to run so we turn around and go the other way where there is no traffic he comes up beside me and beeps 3 times and we are of i jump on him imedently and he starts pullin a little bit and i keep in it then when its over i have him covered by 4 lengths. So after that im pumped and this gt comes up real loud exhaust and i pray for a red light and we get 1 so i turn off the traction control and get ready lights turns green we are both off he hangs with me into second and im gone! It was great my first races with the new T/A and i think i hurt there feelings!

Great job for only owning for 3 weeks. Is this your first Fbod/V8?

What year GT do you know? (body style wise)

Sounds good man. Nice Kill.

WHy can't light bolt 2V's learn they can't hang with LS's? Hell pre03/04 light bolt on 96-01 4V's would need to be on their best game.

lol yea defintly maybe with a supercharger or a hit of nitrious but its still fun to bust on them that was always my favorite car to beat with my lt1 every once in a while one would give me a run for my money but they should just pay the extra money and get a mach 1 or a 3v if they want a cheaper alternitive to a 03/04 cobra

my stock gt held just fine with my buddies good running lt1...i ran 8.8 at track with just no mufflers. with my 4.10's and DR's i should be good for mid eights which is plenty to hang with a stock ls1 (talking about quarter mile...which is like 0-100 roughly)

There's only one problem wiht that........the last half of the track. LOL Seriously though, 1/8 runs can give you an idea, but not really concrete. Some cars are just plain dogs off the line and the last 1/8 is where they come alive. THe LS and the 03/04 cobra's come to mind the most. A mach can 'hang' with a cobra from 0-1/8th because of hte mach's launch and low end, but after that..uh, no. LOL

ALthough...yes......4.10s and DR's....would probably shave a good .5 off the over all time which would make it a good run with a stock LS.

haha ok ponygt now you are over thinking my generosity, i am only civil with you becuase you are as well, and i know for a fact [] that the LT1 was down at least 1-1/2 cylinders, might even be as high as 2.25-.275 cylinders down.

haha!

MBJ is a liar! and he ran a 10.8 1/8th mile not a 8.8
