you're correct but i think to be more specific its 100lbs of dead weight

IE weight just sitting in the car or in the trunk.

Rotational mass has a different ratio anybody know what the rotational mass ratio is? i knew at one point but i think i drank too much over the holidays and cant remember anything haha.

im not sure what the #'s are for rotational.. i know drag lites knock off almost 100 lbs, and that is supposed to pick you up more than 1/10... soooo....

on a side note, its actually more like 130-140 lbs for a 1/10 second..

rotational mass is something like 8lbs of dead weight per one lb rotational mass.

there you go! thats what i was looking for! so its pretty much 10lbs of rotational mass gone is equal to about 80lbs of dead weight. so 20lbs dropped of rotational would be 160lbs of dead weight, equaling about .1 thats crazy. maybe some drag lites are in my near future now

**** every 1/10th counts!

you can really tell the difference with drag lites and normal rims.. i know i could...

i could tell more of a difference in that than any other amount of weight reduction i have done.. and ive done a lot... weight the car a few hours ago and it was 3060 #'s with 10 gallons of gas..

actually... to be exact.. with 3 gallons of gas it would be 3018 #'s...

and no it is no where near a stripped car..

i still have door bars, air bags, front seats, radio, hood, k member, steering wheel.... the list goes on! haha..

bt i will say that there is more done than most cars.. i have no ac rear speakers heat shield cruise control horn exhaust before axle drag lites no ttop holders carpet replaced with lite weight and sound deadening taken out..

im shooting for a race weight of 3000 #'s with 2-3 gallons of gas.. which if i spent about 350 bucks i could be there and then some, but im trying to do it without spending any money..

yea true not a full stripper so you'd be at the topless bars right? haha!

yea that sounds healthy man, i really need to start doing some weight reduction too, could help me out alot, but at the same time i still need some traction mods can't get the car to hook to save my life, best run ive had here in phoenix was 13.3 with a 2.2 60'

hahahhaa yea..

weight reduction is more addicting than putting mods on... once you start, **** just starts flying off.. its hard to only take 2-3 things off.. thats how mine started.. and then i would be like "hell i dont need that, its only a few bolts" 5 minutes later, its laying in the garage.. hahahahhaa..

get ya a big ole sticky tire! thatll take car of your traction.. i cut 1.5 sixty foots and the only mod i have done with traction is !sway bar... bone stock besides that..

i'm already running 555R's! and i heat them up good as hell, just getting mad wheel hop and if i mash the gas it just goes sideways. i think it has to do with my stock converter and the wheel hop.

Try to stall it up to about 1000rpms or 1500 and see how you can take off with that. Practice your take off's, or just try not to hit it hard. Just give it enough to get a decent take off and then put it to the floor. I stall it up or just leave it and try to get a decent take off from time to time and there's times ive just hit it to hard.

You didn't do to bad....my neighbor and his 06 GT raced and i only won the race by around a car almost an even race....I was 100% stock at the time...two weeks after i purchased the car.

The new mustangs arent to bad if they have good driver mod.

They aren't heavy. Unless you consider your car to be heavy.

How many miles does your car have? Do regular maintenance? Ever change the plugs? Made a world of difference on mine. O2's good? etc etc etc.....

If you don't, you HAVE TO DO regular maintenance to get 100% out of it.

Don't see how a ls6 intake is a mod for you....pretty sure they came on 01-02s.

Every 100lbs or so slows you down about a 1/10 at your hp level. Have a stereo too?

SLP ram air works OK at best IMO. Some people disagree.

So does the box tune.

05+ with good tune run pretty well.

I had a Superchip or something in my car when I bought my 99. When I put on a Loudmouth and got it on the dyno it put down 312, when I put Hooker SuperComps with catted y at the time it put down 317 untuned with the superchips. You are missing quite a bit of power possibly and I was running 16/1 AF. If you had a proper tune it would have been a little bigger win but not by a landslide. It also looks like the guy with the stang is a damn good driver also if he can pull on you like that if you didn't spin. But good kill and get that camaro a tune

That's just what mine was running....and the axles bent.

What a p.o.s.
