Default Embarrased a 335i

So I just took a road trip to santa fe new mexico, and got only 1 race out of a 1900 mile drive. I was going on the 8 west on my way back, and it is the middle of nowhere so I was going around 90 just cruising. After a bit this red 335i pulls up next to me, its two older dudes and its definitely a dealer car, brand new with a big dealer sticker in the back window.

Well they paced me for a while, then they would race off to like 120 and slow down, wait for me to catch back up. I kept looking at him to see what he wanted but he wouldn't even look over. Eventually I got tired of the ricer flybys and dropped to 3rd right as he came by to do it again. Needless to say it looked like he threw the anchor out, by about 140 he was a speck of headlights in my mirror. Of course he came back for the complimentary "my bmw is more expensive" flyby but then he settled down to around 80 and stayed that way.

I tried hard to get various other cars to run, including a nice white 03/04 cobra vert but he wouldn't have it. Turns out everyone wanted to run when I was exiting, like a turbo civic that damn near killed himself to get next to me (1/4 mile from my exit, yeah right) and a sweet looking black fox body stang running slicks and skinnies. He would have raped me I'm sure he gunned it quick and that thing moved the hell out.

good kill
I guess this was in your 99fbody?
Stock to stock, normally an LS1 fbody wont just hide from a 335. Put a couple of cars yes in that range probably.

Yes, I'd be doing it flintstones style in my other one. So far the LS6 swap hasn't let me down.

BMW *** is my favorite, beat down a bmw m-5 awhile back , could not get away from him till we reached 155mph or so , I guess he still had the governor on his car but he was a snobby bmw owner who got his *** handed to him by a c6 vette.

Your combination is just about what Id like to find in my juiced 335 - http://burgertuning.com/jb3pinout.html

Theres a guy here in town that recently did an LS6 swap - I was dead even with him when he had the LS1/exhaust/tune and I had the previous juice mod - the JB2. Trouble is, I dont really like the triple digit speeds it would probably take to draw any definite conclusions.

I really like the fact that you can unlock a lot of power on that car with just a small tuner chip sort of thing like that. I have no idea what #s I'm making, and the car isn't running 100% because the stock 26lb injectors are maxed out. I'm saving my pennies to bring it back up to CMS to finish the tune and put my new injectors in. I hear ya about the high speeds, its crazy anywhere around here but I was in the middle of the desert so I figured why not.

It was okay besides the blizzard crap when I was trying to leave. I want around albuquerque from the 40 to the 25N, that was the only area I saw any decent cars the entire trip.
