Was running up the Pres George Bush Frwy yesterday & happened upon a late model C5, yellow in color, had the pretty little billet grills on the tailights, red lettering (corvette), the nice bra on the front, & an older guy 50ish chewing his cigar. I pull up to him @ 80mph side by side & rev going underneath an overpass(tunnell) we both nail it & i leave his *** in the wind, hell i think i blew some of the paint off his car.... I reached speeds of approx 145mph (No Traffic was around) as i enter the toll booth the cigar chewing man makes it a point to flip me the bird as he goes by. Man, what a sore sport!!! Man, i love these cars!!
I hate Asses like that. Win or loose I always have a and a thumbs up, But some will get mad and try to steer into you or do a ricer fly by and slam on the brakes in front of you after they lost.
Nice kill and really nice car, Im in Beaumont,TX and i have a hard time finding f-bodys or GM performance vehicles period. Keep it up. Guys ovre 50 should not drive muscle cars because the never drive them like they are supposed to be. A 60 year old guy in my city has three yes three ford lightings and drives them like they are crown vics WTF

This is why I mainly just used to stick to racing people I know or would do my own thing in the wee mornin', on my own. Alot of people in this day and time are arrogant. They take things entirely too personal. They forget that we're all pretty much brothers in arms, in the car thing. Then there's the otherside, that get into cars because they perceive that the world will look at them as accomplishing something just because of their car, and of course the world could care less. They also forget that just because they weren't as fast as the other car, that it's not the end of the world, and they still have a cool car that's fast, and all they did was just have a race with another person in a sea of millions, and thats' it! There was one time when a gentleman came up on me in a Lamborghini Murcielago on the freeway, and was giving the signals that he wanted to race. I basically for fun, took the challenge even though I knew I would lose in my stock machine. It's only had the engine blueprinted and the tires shaved, because they used it for a pace car in South Carolina. We got up to speeds in excess of a 150mph, and he was way the **** in the distance. Congratulations on your fun with the yellow C5, but sorry about the other guys attitude.
