What was the DA... The DA around here is usually +1500-2000 feet... Cobra's trap around 120-122 with full boltons... A full bolton Vette with a cam is in the 130s...

Lets see your slip... Are you running 7.2s in the 1/8???? Yes the Vette is a better design and easier to drive... It doesn't wheelhop and it's not a 3575 lb pig

DA is roughly 2000' every time I'm at the track. Elevation is 660'.

Thanks for the lesson. I didn't know anything about either car.

Am I running 7.20's in the 1/8th? Definitely not...unless I botch a pass.
No wheel hop here since I have a solid axle and my car weighs just a hair
under 3,400lbs. I'm shooting for 9's this year. You can worry about 11's.

I'll have to take your word for it since I can't view the vids from work
currently.

You are not running the stock blower then... Apples to apples.. If you are on the stock blower, then you are spraying and that's not a bolt-on.

If I'm a good driver or a bad driver it doesn't matter. I ran faster in my LS2 stock cubes, then I did with a full bolt-on Cobra. Same driver was faster in the Vette!

Why are you arguing a point that I agree with. You don't have
to sell me on how good C6's are.

Jay, I'm not a big fan of LG cams... I've waxed too many of them in my other car with a smaller cam... I really don't want to go that big either. Seems these heads make good power with cams like yours...
Im curious to see how the 102's do with the 90mm tb. It is funny, it seems that mild cams are the way to go these days. It drives like stock no less, under light throttle

Post your slip, you can't be musch faster than low 11s with the stock blower. I'm running low 11s now, and should hit 10s with my new converter...

slips are in the glovebox which the car is in storage. i said i went faster than your vette when it was tuned with an intake. not much faster but enough. my car traps 123-124 and 96-97 in the 1/8th. for what its worth its still a stock suspension irs car with no weight reduction and all runs are made with 17" mt et street radial tires. like a said my car is a bit of a freak. i know that it runs and traps faster than the majority of pulley only cobras. and by no means am i knocking the c6's vettes. they are bad *** cars.

For what it's worth, I loved the Cobra because It was my first "powerful" car. I had some issues with Ford regarding the tick and ended up with a settlement.. So, I'm still a tad bitter. I ended up with a $10K check from them to get my car fixed. If it wasn't for that, I'd still have it. I do like the muscle car aspect. I also think a Ford in general sound better than Chevy Nothing like a Stang with flowmasters. A 4.6 GT sounds better than my Vette IMO....

Like you, I may have a freak LS3.. I haven't seen anyone else hit 11.7 or 121mph with an intake and tune on stock runflat tires.

duh unit! its cause you cant run 11's

you'd have to some how totally botch the launch and then half *** it down the track and hope you hit an 11 and not faster or slower

thats gotta be some kinda record seriously.

what a new type of racing emerges, go 100% throttle until you are like 115-130 feet away depending on car braking and nail the brakes to try and run the fastest run at a single digit MPH haha!

It's hard to see...but I wasn't kidding.
...and I still won by 2.3 seconds. That's got to be embarrassing!

I had all sorts of issues on that "pass".

I honestly don't remember everything that went wrong. It was a complete
debacle....smoked the tires, the car kicked sideways, pedaled it a ton,
straightened it out, would rev over 5,000rpm, let out, etc, etc, etc.
It was a mess. That's what test and tune is for though.
