Default Lexus IS-F vs WS6

ok this was about 2-3 months ago... but i always saw these things in the movie theater before the movies like as commercials.. thought they were pretty slick and had a mean 0-60 in like 4.5 seconds... thats pretty fast..

so i see a white one up ahead swerving. im like ummm, lets go play!!!
so finaly we end up at a light, neither of us reved but im like i dont want to seem cocky so i just waited to see what hed do, as we are about halfway though the intersection, i hear him gun it... so of course i left it in 1st and took off... HOLY ****!! these F*ckers are fast as *****... he actualy had a bumber on me through second... at the end of second and into third i starting pulling and had a bumper on him... then a curve comes and, well... i we slowed down... i pulled up to him and asked him to roll his window down, and told him "wow they are making them imports faster day to day" then he had the ***** to tell me "the sad thing is, i wasnt even on it all the way...."......... ok if your driving a $50g lexus, and a punk kid tries to race you in his WS6...if your going to race, why WOULDNT you go all out... ne ways, i take it as a kill, and i was VERY happy with it... id like to take one from a 70 roll, for the margain of victory would be greater... keep in mind these puppies have about the same HP as a c6 ls3... i think its about 430... so it wasa good match

Good kill man. Some people in high priced imports can't stand to lose to a domestic bang-for-your-buck v8 cars so they often make an excuses.

Actually they DONT have LS3 power (not to the ground at least) - more like LS2. They dyno at between 340 and 350 (with relatively low torque for a 5l)

Even it was not floored, it would not make a whole lot of difference (except maybe for shift points).

Im thinking youd have a little more trouble from a roll - with 8 speeds, they do have a lot more likelyhood that the motor will be in the powerband.

But good kill regardless.

OP, is your car stock?

Last time I checked, the IS-F traps at ATLEAST 110...

Good kill either way.

I think this story might be BS anyway, unless he's not stock. But then again, who is?

I've driven the IS-F and those cars have some muscle for sure... I also drove a stock Zo6 on that same day, and the Z06 pulled harder for sure... The IS-F is a very nice ride though in and out...Comfortable as ****, topend power really kicks too.....
