naw the guy i raced had a shitty diablo tune and started off in 1st gear at around 40... WTF? yea i know. Sounds fake but it happened.

 

Ha ha i dont care what you say, it happened and i got a witness. Plus the cobra was a friend of mine. I helped put his **** in. Now he has got a bigger intercooler and he JUST GOT IT TUNED AND DYNOED. 450 rwhp. After a tune.

 

Seriously? they guy couldn't drive. His best was like a 9.3 in the 1/8th. Never wanted to go back to the track because i beat him there too. I know its unbelieveable. I nearly **** myself when it happened too. He raced me before his mods, when it was stock and pulled on me by about a car.

I mean, look at this part of the story: in thrid gear, honked off, and he pulled two cars on a car that is putting down ~30-40 more RWHP?....the ONLY way that could have happened with an 03 cobra is if the driver was in the wrong gear. DRiver ability has nothing to do with a one gear punch, unless he was in the wrong one. IF that was the case, the OP should still dial down his enthusiasm....I mean, seriously, let's look at the entire picture here.

ok well i put down 353hp so, his numbers are still off WAY more then mine...you cant sit there and compare what SOME cobras run from the factory, because you NEVER dynoed this actualy car. all we can say is it had 390hp, which is the best quess, considering no one ever dynoed it... and that i won, means he proly was a lower rated cobra and its proyl stock... and actualy i never even stated number except that were on a link.... look there is no reason to argue, i beat the guy fair and square.. it was proly stock... big deal, i still won, it wasnt by much, but a win is a win right??

 

You're impossible. I have NEVER seen a 2003-2004 Cobra dyno less than 360 or higher than 387...they are ALL within that range if not just a little bit higher. Tell the guy to go dyno his car, and it will be around 365-375. Guess how I know.....

 

i believe you, but you dont know for sure... and explain the win then? i KNO for a fact that it was an 03/04 cuz it had the lip spoiler instead of the raised spoiler of the n/a cobras... you can just tell the difference, like the way the exhaust pipes are located in the back... and for ppl that think, OMG he left in 4th gear... IF he did that, i would of ran away from him duh...look it was a legit win against a stock/slight exhaust cobra supercharged... deal with it pony lovers....o wait, hes heavier then me too :/

You put down ~355....again, that cobra with NOTHING MORE THAN A CATBACK would put down ~20 more than you. SO again, my comment of 30-40 is accurate given you have no idea WTF you are talking about.

Dude thats totally believable, I ran a 04 with exhaust, intake, nittos from a dig, 20 and 40 and each time i lost by about 2 cars around 100mph, so diff. driver diff situation it could go either way , yes the cobra outs down more to the wheels, but it does so in a completely different matter than you do, supercharged 4.6 ~ n/a 5.7 power curves will be very different obviously.
