Maybe its just your car that isn't a match for a cobra.

I can't believe he called you a punk cause he thought you were running nitrous.

I would have said "To bad Ford had to put a SC on your car and it still wasn't enough"

And if he plays the "Well your motor is bigger" game............"Its not our fault Ford built a small engine"!!!!!!!!!
Stupid *** noobs still play this game?
ITS THE ******* WAY THE CAR CAME FROM THE FACTORY, ****. Its also not our fault that Ford built a forged smaller engine with a blower on it that will assrape a similar modded LSx car. POWER IS POWER, NO MATTER HOW ITS MADE. you don't see the exotic guys (ie. Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini) bitching about the ZR1 saying oh but its not our fault Chevy built a heavier Corvette with a blower on it!

So you trapped over 118 when you were bolt-ons only?

Actually my car is a pretty good race for some pullied Cobras, but the guys who can really drive or have a strong Cobra will still pull me. So yeah, I guess you're technically right.

The best chance I have is a dig race since I can launch the ***** off my car and can take some pullied Cobras like that, but from a roll I still don't have a great chance unless they need to work on their driving.

I know what a pullied cobra sounds like, and as far as I could tell, it wasn't. So I highly doubt it. Bet then again I doubt I would have heard it over my car anyway and I honestly believe he would have pulled a couple lengths on me if he was. 100 whp is a big difference.

I can't believe that you're still surprised by some of the ignorance around here. You just gotta expect it.

chyea i mean in my bolt-on baby cam LT1 i own cobra's haha.

but on a serious note, the older guy i bought my car from had a lisence plate that read mongose

and i asked him why, and he said cause it will eat every cobra alive.
mind you the car was 100% stock when i got it from him all the way down to the paper filter. haha! what a joke he was.

ha, i'm late but PULLIED?! THATS HILARIOUS!

yeah right! you let me know when bolt on ls1 camaro's start trapping 118-120+

and doing full exhaust has nothing to do with a pulley swap. exhaust is always one of the first concerns for cars like ours...

Wow. Another thread where one of the posters claims to have no problems beating pullied Cobras (plural) in a bolt-on LS1.

Wow. Just wow.

Unless H/C + N2O setups and/or serious weight reduction are considered bolt-ons now?

A bolt-on LS1 is no match for a pullied Cobra, unless they Cobra driver sucks and they are out there.

Logic tells you that a 360rwhp F-body should not and will not hang with a 460rwhp Cobra. There is no other way to say it.

Now a well cammed (400rwhp) or H/C (410-440rwhp) is totally understandable.

.
Thanks Sarge, I didn't even see the Cobra had Cai/exhaust. Too many bs threads to read these days.

Jay, maybe you should start redirecting these threads to Bench racing? Cuz that is all that these threads turn into. Everyone I see gets to like 3 pages (I'm on 40 post per page), and either gets locked.....or keeps going for another 3 pages, then is locked.
