i think he may have just got a run in with a r/t. a guy i know very well just got his challenger and it put down 384rwhp with 1200 miles on it and he ran a 12.9@110 the next day. right now hes awaiting the install of his supercharger. it should be in the low 500s with ease! i cant wait to c it then

It is not my attempt to take anything away from this kill but when I had my 02 SS for like 3 months (before my C6), I played with my wife driving the SRT8 (Diablo/CAI/Stat) and she would litterally pull a few inches from 60-110 but when we let off, she was still stronger than my SS. My 02 SS was an M6 w/ ported tb, CB and lid at the time. Maybe his GT is strong, maybe the Challenger was totally stock and they need a few miles to loosen up....who knows, who cares.
Is it possible his GT could run with a mild bolt-on 02 SS and is it possible with 27K miles and a few mods, my 300 could have put a few lengths (1.5-2 as in the vid) on a stock SRT8 Challenger?... Who knows... Good kill either way

You should have told the clown nice hub caps, since those things come with the $1,350 optional 20" chrome wheels. The best part is that they are chrome plated plastic over a bleh 5 spoke rim? it's a friggin' chrome hubcap glued to the wheel. What a rip.

if it really was then congrats and thats a great kill , but def be a little more cautious next time you race one bacause with a proper driver it may be a much better run. but just like i have experienced many times, crazy stuff happens on the street!

That is a nice kill. Was it a 6pd or auto? I would have expected a stock auto to do a little better than that but then again, you've got a quick car.
I can only offer excuses. If he shifted himself or kept ESP fully-on, definitely possible.
Then again, a full bolt-on and tuned S197 is no slouch whatsoever.
And what D!CK for not paying up! Dumb move, good way to get in trouble with strangers and lose face with your wife. What a tool.
If $40k 12sec sedans don't impress you, does the production car RECORD at the 'Ring do it?
Hi. Just got here.
Challengers will run 108-110mph in perfect air with the auto, not sure about the stick.
Also 355-385rwhp, again, not sure about the 6M.
Too many newbies in the Challengers. There is no reason they should be faster than the 4doors.
20" WHEELS are standard on SRT-8s.
I totally agree.

Hi. Just got here.
good kill but im very suprised you won, i know nearly everythinh about 3v, and srt8 since i own both, and with your mods you should be in the 290-310rwhp area depending on which tune you have, and the srt is in the 375-390rwhp.
with a intake, exhaust, underdrives, and a tune i ran a 13.2 @ 105 in my stang and the challengers stock run that but at about 109-112, so from a roll he actually should have beat you! but thats def bragging rights so good kill!!!

I don't think they make a 6 speed challenger

So what are the average times for an srt8 charger an rt challenger 6 speed at the track. I've raced both vehicles on interstate runs, man i was amazed when i beat the challenger though. I was going wild with excitment in my car when i beat the challenger, on the interstate they both seemed about the 2 1/2 cars behind me
