S197 vs SRT8 Challenger So a couple of weeks ago I was driving around and was pulling up to a red light heading back towards the interstate and across the intersection a SRT8 challenger gets *** sideways turning so i run the "dark green" light and catch up with him. we mess around a lil bit him gettin on it then me getting on it. so my buddy tells him to roll down his window and ask if he wants to race and he's like for what and i go $50 and he turns to his wife and smiles back and says ok so i call silverm6ta to come be the chase car and bout 5 mins later we hopped on the interstate and i told him on the third honk. well we slow down to 50 he honks and i pull, pull, and pull had him by like 3-4 cars to 130 then we slow down he wants to do another one and once again pull we get off the interstate pull in a gas station and look at his car before leaving i ask for my $50 and he says we never agreed to race for $50 and i go yea we did or you wouldnt of raced me and goes well we never shook on it. So im kinda pissed bout that bc if i would of lost he would of been all over me for the money but oh well its another car to add to the kill list!

daaaaaaaamn a 3v GT can take out a srt8. those things must be pigs. what does 10.94 in the 1k equate to in a 1/4, like a high 12 or so. i'm just geussin. the srt's have so much power, if they just didnt weigh so much they would be a force

lol...yea thats what I thought, but I really don't know about the quarter thing thats before my o/r x and tb spacer which helped out a bunch. Now I think I can break into the 10.7's which is guessing high 12's

I bet there are going to be a whole bunch of Internet Mike Tyson/Rambos in here saying they would have "whipped his ***" for not paying.
Nice kill. What a ****. I've never even seen anyone "shake" on a street race. I would have been so embarrassed not to pay the $50... I had a friend once not pay $40, and I was so ashamed to even be around him; I damn near paid the guy out of my pocket.

You really shouldnt have pulled that hard on a srt8, they trap pretty decent. I do hate Dodge with a passion though, so good kill!!!

Yea, theyre heavy 4200 lbs. Nice looking car with lots of power, but they weigh a lot. I havent seen a Challenger at the track but ran a few SRT8 Chargers in my GTP. It was a real close race but I did win a few races against them. You did put a beatin on him, lol. If your Mustang was stock, you would definitely have trouble beating one. They run mid-low 13s bone stock but have seen em run in the 12s.

good kill but im very suprised you won, i know nearly everythinh about 3v, and srt8 since i own both, and with your mods you should be in the 290-310rwhp area depending on which tune you have, and the srt is in the 375-390rwhp.
with a intake, exhaust, underdrives, and a tune i ran a 13.2 @ 105 in my stang and the challengers stock run that but at about 109-112, so from a roll he actually should have beat you! but thats def bragging rights so good kill!!!
