Same as a 99-04 Mustang GT 5spd, though I would say the S2000 has a bit more up top than the Mustang.
Were not talking about weak *** mustangs....my john deere tractor has more up top than a mustang.

Now considering I've either owned or driven each of the cars we're talking about extensively, over a number of years, why don't you just take my word for it .

Have you taken your moms car to the track yet? How do know what it runs? Just because one person sqeezed a 13.9 out of one within the 10 years they have been out doesnt mean they will all run that...

1) It's widely accepted that S2000s, LT1s, 99-04 Mustang GT 5spds, Skittles, and 03-05 350Zs are all within the same general quarter mile/trapspeed range.
2) S2000s are high 13/low 14s cars in general. Some are a touch faster. The times you see that are in the mid 14s and higher are either because of a shitty DA, or the driver doing something wrong.

People like you are the reason F-body drivers have a reputation for being ignorant ******** . The two cars aren't even in the same class.

^ If you wanna prove everyone wrong, you'll need to produce your own numbers. Or race someone off of this forum for proof. The s2k is a quick little car once its powerband kicks, so I'm not arguing with ya. Hell, if you're ever in the Southern Indiana neighborhood, I'd love to give you a race in my lt1 push rod, white trash mullet mobile. But like I said, hard proof is what you will need to defend your argument. And that amounts to a time slip or a race. And why the hell do you keep that Mustang as your picture? Where are the pics of the s2k?

I will be happy to go to the track as soon as I'm able, but the car needs a little work before I want to take it. I don't want to be one of those people that has a number in their signature, and then a laundry-list of excuses following that explain why it wasn't faster (99 Z28, anyone?). I know the car isn't running 100% right now, and I'm not going to go to the track until I get the car back as close to 100% as possible. But with the way $$ is going right now, who knows when that's going to be. And for the record, I did not mean to imply that F-bodies are "mullet mobiles" because I love the cars (though that doesn't mean I can't see their faults), but that guy seems to fit the stereotype to the "T."

You never implied that. I'm waiting on 98gs-r to perk up. He referred to my car as that one day. I'm not fond of s2ks, but I know they can be quick. I'm working on gettin this car a little faster up top. A little High Rev Kit is in the future but I'm off subject. Get that car runnin right cuz I wanna see some numbers.

Not sure why your ragging on the guys low 12 second pass when you had a mid 13 second GT and and a stock s2000.

If you see his other posts you'll develop a similar opinion of him... I'm far from the only one on here that thinks he's nothing but a trash-talking POS.

Yes, I was speaking of his, "Well I couldn't hook cuz I was on street tires, and I was bouncing off the rev limiter cuz it wasn't tuned, and I was down on power cuz it wasn't tuned." Well then why the hell were you at the track?

Torque (or lack there of) was the biggest reason why I sold my '02 S2. You definitely caught that car in a bad spot but hey it's always run what you brung. I ended up doing Crower cams/Skunk S2 heads, and that moved power even further up in the band. Twas a pretty nice car though.
