Ran a 97 White Z last night A couple buddies of mine went to Hooters last night, I drove, and so did my bud with a 01 Z, on I40, we were showing some ricer on a prelude what a real car was when we ran up on the LT1, my buddy went first, and pulled about 2 cars on him pretty quickly, I went next and was about 2 1/2 cars or so in front, we went from probably a 65 or so roll, maybe a little less, cuz I went to 2nd gear, so the guy follows us to Hooters, and has beer, pretty cool guy, one problem, he don't know **** about his car, said he put 4:10's in and that with his str8 piped stock exhaust added 40 HP 
..he proceeded to tell me to change my loudmouth to a flowmaster for a better performance gain..it was hilarious, anyways, fun night, sorry so damn long

That's funny about the Flowdisasters. Does he realize that the loudmouth isn't even a muffler? What an idiot. I guess there's always a couple of bad apples out of the bunch.

Re: Ran a 97 White Z last night at least he was not a *****, but i think we should all come together and write a book about the basics of a car, and tell people what will give you true amounts of hp, not gears giving you hp and so on and so forth!

Flowmasters sound awesome but they don't flow as well. A guy on daytonfbody.com said that the flowmaster on his 383 lt1 caused so much backpressure it was blowing header gaskets. He put a Hooker aero chamber muffler in place and it was all good after that.
