A 3500 stall will pick up 1/2 second at the strip and really puts the rpm's in the cam range at 30 mph or so. I'm telling you, its like driving a whole new car.

I really doubt he was even close to stock...

They only trap around 100mph stock.

That's because at 40, your car is still low in 2nd gear. Ask me how i know???

Me racing a Stock WS6 M6 from a 35 roll...

Anything from 30 to 50 really, your dead in the water in an A4 without a stall. Car will not downshift back to 1st gear at 35 or 40, which keeps you low in 2nd gear.

Nice kill but am I the only one ROFL-ing that a guy with 10 year old Pontiac is calling a new Chevy a POS? And for what it's worth, the turbocharged and supercharged Cobalts are completely different animals. FWD isn't for everybody but the new Cobalt is clearly the best of the usual suspects...Neon sartee4, Caliber sartee4, Madzaspeed 3, etc. I know Car & Driver liked it and I've seen one in the mags ripping around road courses with GM aftermarket parts. Sure it's a Cobalt but it's helluva lotta car for $20K.

That must mean if I beat you your car is a pos. I win!
I actually used to have one, they are quite nice.

Not to be a dick, but last I heard the Cobalts had the Ecotec motors.
And I'm pretty sure it goes Ecotec=Not a piece of ****.

A 4 cyl. kept within 2 cars of you in your LS1. And honestly, it probably wouldn't have lost much ground up to 130. I can't say for certain since the only good video I've seen is of niterider racing a turbo model. Hopefully that stall will get you going if you find the guy, otherwise you may be in for a huge letdown.

BTW...are those 17" rims?
