420rwhp guys car on local board does about 118 or so its 99 SS. A 520rwhp vette better trap like 128 or something is pretty darn wrong. To run that slow and don't care about his so so 60ft something had to be hugely wrong as he is down like 100hp. Was this a stick vette or auto? Stick well guess guy could have done some stupid stupid shifting like shifting it at 3000 rpm or something.
If it was auto then he must be running on 6 cylinders.

Infact I talked to the C6 owner asking to line up next to him because I thought he was stock and I figured I probably could outdrive him and maybe win seeing as how 96% of the people that go to test n tune nights don't know how to drive out of a paper bag. He then told me his car was supercharged and made 520rwhp (I didn't see under the hood but I heard what sounded like a Procharger). He said he hadn't ran and was wondering how the track was. I told him that it wasn't prepped good if at all and I told him over and over to be careful because I was watching high powered cars spin badly on the top end and I did not want to see him wreck his car since he was on street tires and not sticky tires of any kind. He thanked me and said he would probably leave traction control on. I honestly don't give a damn if I beat him or lost to him, it was a good race reguardless if he was stock or had 900rwhp and at the end neither one of us wrecked our cars because the track cannot do their job.

No offense but spinning usually helps the trap speed, with a dead hook you would prolly trapped a lil less. And im not even gonna comment on the vette, I guess it trapped 90mph stock

When you spin you lose ground to create speed. It makes no sense that when you spin your trap speed will go up. My best MPH in my Cobra was off a 1.51 60'. If what you said was true the Vette should have been running 140mph since he was having such bad traction problems.

Lots of morons driving modified cars out there! We all know what the C6 should do. Bottom line is that he didn't.

Well in all fairness i've seen a GTO at Speedworld here in AZ with a procharger running 12lbs of boost guy said something like 45x RWHP run a 15.5 @ 105 i beat him in my bone stock LT1 T/A. granted he was on street tires and seriously burning out thru the 1/8th mile mark haha.
