I will watch tire lifting 9 or low 10 second cars all day long. But these "drag cars" that are at every track on test-n-tune nights are about as annoying as the jr dragsters.

I'm sure you know it's called bracket racing. Its actually fun once you get into it, and it's very difficult compared to heads up racing. the nice thing about bracket racing is it's all skill. Going faster is only a product of how much money you have!

I don't think racing should be allowed in the name. Its not racing, its who can guess what they're going to run and be the most consistent.

Bracket racing is the dumbest **** on Earth and is the only form of racing where a stock 1980's station wagon can win.

Yeah bracket racing is kinda dumb. Launch, oh no too fast, nail the brakes, get back on it. ******* pointless. Just cause it requires skill doesnt make it cool, real races are who can go the fastest.

ok..ok... bracket racing is not for everyone, but like I said, heads up racing is all about who has the most money. Yes you can get beat by a girl in a 1980's station wagon, especially if she trees you!! But it's not just for slow cars, the NHRA is full of stock and super stock race cars that are crazy fast, stand on their bumpers, and still bracket race. ANYONE with the right amount of money can make their car go as fast as they want.

This is very very much not true as you can see from the video. A bolt on Mach 1 hanging right there with a supercharger C6 corvette. I bet he has almost 3 times more money in that car than I did.

All that money on mods, and still on stock tires? That is ******* horrible. First thing I did was put wider, better tires on. Granted not 315s, but still...they somewhat helped.

Granted, but I was kind of refering to heads up racing, like ORSCA, NMCA and the likes. Sure on a grudge night you will beat guys that should be faster, but on a prepped track with similar driver abillity's, you probably won't. If you slap a turbo on your car, you would be hard to beat until the next guy comes along with a bigger turbo, or more nitrous.....that is what i'm saying. Good kill though

My brother has a 72 camaro...stock 3 speed auto with 3.73s and runs 12.0s on MT ET's.....383 stroker.

Built it up from stock.

Power dosent mean **** if you cant drive. week burn out in the c6 and possible street tires. You sir in the stang have alot of seat time. Burnout was good traction was good. I see no bs flags because you simply out drove him good race .

As long as it's a street car then it's badass. I think he was referring to the people who have "racecars" that can't get out of their own way. Personally I would never want a racecar of any kind. I'd take a 15 second street car over an 8 second car that I couldn't drive to the local cruise night.

It's street legal....the only problem he has is the exhaust. He's been pulled over a couple of times. LOL...3" full exhaust with (I believe) 2" primaries. It's one loud SOB....and sounds MEAN with the cam.

I SOOOOOO wanted to race him in my mach.

Mach 1 was 5 speed, stock gears, no tune, and bolt ons on Nitto tires.

Oh excuse the video camera operator. It was her first time filming. I just got the video camera.
Ehh look at the difference in you guys trap speeds! With any halfway decent driver behind that 'vette it would have been bad 4 u.
