I was waitng for you to do that lol. I know what happened and I know that it isnt bull ****. I thought that number seemed a lil low myself also so even if he was making more power that would make my car that much better correct? Im not claiming to have the fastest car by any means but like I said he wasnt the best driver sooo that prolly had a lot to do with me staying as close as I did. Either way it was fun and wasnt as bad as I expected. Ls1 for the win lol jk

My only point is there are a good 4 different size pullies for different boost. Not everyone tosses on a 2.71".

Also, that 430RWHP could have very well been read on a stang dyno which would easily equate to ~450RWHP on a DJ.

I know for a fact it atleast had an exhaust because that thing was pretty damn loud lol. I think he made 430 or so because if he made like 450 or more dont you think he would have gotten me by more? Maybe he was on his nitrous tune and thats why I hung that well with him... or im just that good lol jk

Yes those are weak numbers...but Pony is right he could have just a 2.93 pulley and thats it. My buddy had a Cobra with just a 2.93 pulley and catback and it made 430rwhp and was slow as ****. I know a another guy who has 2.93 pulley with all supporting mods and it makes 445 and traps 121mph. Dyno numbers dont mean ****...driver is everything and tune is a big deal on these cars. Anything can happen on the street.

Lol...yeah for example my brother makes 362rwhp n/a in his full bolt on LS-1.....I destroy him. With him on a 100 shot making 451rwhp I barely edge him out.

Haha. That line is so gay. There are many replacements for displacement. Like a good build. My brother has a '66 plymouth fury 383 that has been bored and stroked to be about 425ish c.i.d. It makes about 400whp n/a. That **** just isn't that great nowadays. Especially not with tc and sc options.

ok I understand the cobra didn't beat him by how much you think he should have but the way the race went sounds about right. IMHO The 03 cobras really don't pull hard until 3rd and 4th gear and thats when he started losing.
