well if your a 99 m6 t/a you have 3.43 rear gears and.. well ill speak for us both if its stock. we pull very well on the highway due to the high rear gears. he probably has alot lower rear gears, i bet 4.10's or atleast 3.90 in the 427 stang. Either way, good job

What I'm saying is you posted up information on a car that is not like what hte OP is referring too. This is a stg 3, not a 427R, and it is an M5, not an auto. Stg 3s are typiclly mid high 12s

My comment about E-town was merely that that is a great track and puts out good times. That and Atco.

3.55s are stock gears for them.

Im not following here.The title of this thread is 99 trans am vs. 427.I posted a link that has a 427 in it. Yes it was an auto(vs the stick)which im sure the stick car is just as capable.Where is stage3 even mentioned at?
