Default '01 WS6 vert & '00 Z28

Went out for a drive Friday and came across a guy and his wife in their '01 WS6 convertible, Just straight rolled up beside me and said Are you ready boy? haha, so of course we went from the red light and I pulled a car and a half on him by 70mph then had to stop for the next red light. I was in my 2000 Z28 I just got last week. It has a lid and exhaust. The guy said all he had was a borla exhaust.

Later that night went to the local 1/8th mile track and got to line up beside a 2000 Z28 w/ 6-speed with 3.42s and ended up beating him by 2 car lengths. His mods were only a lid and exhaust. He said 1st gear he was at my rear quarter panel, then 2nd he started pullin back up along side then 3rd didn't know what happened....I just walked away from him. Does 8.91 @ 82 mph sound about right for a relatively stock LS1?? It's a auto with 3.23s...

8.9 is about like a high 13, what was your 60ft? but a high 13 is about right for an auto thats pretty stock. get a stall.

uhh 8.9 and a high 13 is not good for an auto.

im an auto vert i ran 13.5 in the 1/4 and 8.6 in the1/8 stock probly was spinning some off the line. a good running auto with grip should run atleast a 13.5 with good weather ect.

My 60' time was a 2.117. Car didn't really feel like it was spinning but I know something is wrong cuz it feels like it bogs down right at takeoff. Went to a different track last night and pulled consistent 60' times around 2.10... and only managed a best of 9.04@80.23mph. what's up?
