Default 45-105 run My LT1 vs LS1ws6

I was cruising to the store last night when I passed through a red light and spotted a Black WS6 T/A sitting across at the other light. I was rolling around 55 or so in 4th gear so the car made a good bit of noise. As I passed through the light and got half way up the highway I looked in my rear view and noticed those famous Pontiac flip up head lights and fog lamps coming up on me. Anyway he pulls up next to me and then came the countdown. I should have down shifted to second because we were at 45mph but I left it in 3rd. So we hit it and we were dead even until around 90. I power shifted 4th and pulled a fender up to around 105-110 and then he shut down due to traffic. We stopped at a BP and popped the hoods. I figured his car was bone stock because I have an wore out LT1 with 217K. He had an LS6 intake, Exhaust, MAF and SuperChip tune. Good run, I expected to loose.

Looking at both of your mods, I'd expect the LS1 to have no trouble pulling away, especially with you being in the wrong gear...
Judging from the LS1 owner's "superchip tune," I wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't drive.
Anything can happen on the street though I guess.

Yea, I believe even a mildly bolt on LS1 should pull a bolt on LT1.
