Default bolt on formula vs cammed 2v

Formula : bolt on stall gear weight reduction

2v m5 : Full exhaust 3.73's vt stage 2 cams cai (not sure if/what else

We went from a dig and that was just ugly.

40 roll : I got about half a car on the hit. Slowly creeping away until third. When i hit third he was about 2-3 cars back and pretty much held me prolly another half a car or so till about 110.

Pretty impressed with the way it ran. Decent set of heads and some more gear he would have me from a roll for sure.

We did a second run but he missed a gear and we were in town so trying not to push it too much.

Good kills. The outcomes are pretty much expected. Like you said, his best bet is from a roll, but he's gonna need more hp to make it happen.

Those things are suppose to really bridge the gap between 2v and 4v. i have heard those things make a huge difference.

They flow over 240cfm out of the box. I'm just waiting to see what they flow when ported. The downside of coarse is the price...at about $2k then another grand for more porting.

There's finally an aftermarket head option for the 2V's? That's very cool. The cars are some of the best looking on the road, it just sucked that it was so hard to get them to perform. Hopefully this will bring them up to par without having to go crazy.

They've had aftermarket heads. Just not very many options. Patriot comes to mind. Typically the Cams are what most companies have. The heads aren't TOO bad. Def. 10x better than the non-pi setup.

Since we've already ruined the original thread.....these are the first aftermarket heads that are their own castings, not just ported fords.

Yeah, that's what I meant, the first aftermarket casting. No argument on the PI heads being much better than the non-PI heads, but I haven't really seen an NA 2V car that set the world on fire. Maybe with some aftermarket heads we'll start to see some nice NA setups. If anyone could make it happen it would be Trickflow.
