I love every second of it. It is a heavy car and you can feel it but I don't think I've ever had more "fun" driving a car I.E. people yelling at me across lanes of traffic giving me thumbs up and whatnot, hate to say it, but I really never had that reaction in the hawk. On the street... she rides like a baby, and gets 29-31mpg highway!

Destroys it, but it's also not in any way easy to drive on the street, but the GT500 after tune, gears, and pulley should also be low 11's with the M/T's and its like driving a Hyundai if you baby it... too different purposes though, its boosted, and my old motto was "Boost is like viagra, yeah when you ram it it goes hard, but my car doesn't have boost, and I can ram it and go ever harder"

I watched a GT 500 run last light at our track (2000' elevation and hot). Of course he didn't hook up but I was impressed when he busted off a 12.7 at 120+ mph. His still had the paper plates on it. The exhaust was really loud, are they that loud stock? The stock LS1 camaro's were running 14-14.4 around 100mph
Bone stock they will trap 113 or so.
