Default 09 SS Cobalt Sedan vs 1991 Trans Am......

So I normally complain that no one messes with me. Just a 4-door sedan with a low rise wing doesn't stand out to much. Sure it takes a car guy to see the Brembo's, turbo logo, 18's, etc........but you cant see the inter cooler from behind......

Anyway, On my way to work around 7am, on a 1 lane road I see a blue 91 TA. (My friend had one when were little punk kids) pull out behind me. Cigg in hand hanging out the window, long hair, car sounded like it had some business. But I know these cars. If its stock, its on.....

So a few lefts and rights later a section opens up becoming 2 lanes at a red light. In the distance about 1/2 mile down it goes back to one lane. He pulls up on the right I am guessing pretty confident he is going to overtake me and get in front.

He inches forward anticipating the light, I just know he has no clue whats gonna happen. I inch forward too so he knows I am not goin down easy. On green he pulls out a half car since I have to baby this damn FWD'er. As I manage to wind out 1st, I NLS into 2nd and am about even with him. Since 2nd seems to take a good 4 seconds to wind out, I peek over to my right just in time to catch a WTF face. By the end of 2nd I have pulled a car. So I slam 3rd and continue the pull. Ends up a good 3 cars near the end of 3rd.

He "meekly" pulls behind me and stays there.................... :cssNET:
The next few lights, he never tries to pull past again.

I can hear it now. Telling his friends about this crazy, loud, evil, supped up lil Cobalt that ate his breakfast.

p.s. I am 100% stock. I got an oil change once so I have unoriginal oil in the car

NLF = no lift shift (standard on the SS)

Nice kill OP. I really love those Cobalt SS's. How does the older supercharged ones compare to the turbo?
