Exactly, ppl. with stangs make that mistake all the time. Put a bigger cam in a completely stock motor and it will be slower because it's not matched up to the other parts of the motor, it's just working against itself. Like said he needs a good matched pair of heads and a intake to make better power. Hell i've seen big H/C/I combo's on 302's perform crappy cause of mismatched parts.
This has to be true; its not all the cars who have nice stock heads like LSX motors, honestly.
like someone said earlier about mismatched parts, used to work with a guy that had a SN95 5.0, built 306, H/C/I, made 245 to the wheels. It doesnt matter what you have done if it doesnt work together, good kill op
