I like the GTs. They are good platforms to start out with, they are fun cars with potential for more and quite frankly parts are easy to come by for 'em. PLUS: they give us LS1 guys an ego boost from time to time. That is until you run into one that can haul ***, then it's a face-reddening event for MR.LSX heheh. V8, rwd, coupe, domestic, meets my criteria of "bad ***". It's not always about being the fastest, it's about what you like. Anything can be made "fast and quick" if you put your time and effort into it, and also a but load of money! lol. Someday I may get my doors blown off by one myself. What would it take for a "new edge" model to take down the almighty Hawk?

I agree. Pretty much anything can be made fast these days, so I have no problem with them. They look good and have a decent aftermarket.
