Default 300C SRT8 vs M3

I was picking my wife's car up tonight since she is out of town for a few days and on the way home I catch a light with a blue M3 (2006-ish) and the dude is starring at me like got his mom gagged in my trunk and I am trying not to pay him much attention. I slowly turn the traction control back ON and he begins to launch as the light goes green and we tear off. I had a 1/2 car to 30 and by 90 I had a good 2 cars on him.

Anyway, it was fun and thought I would share. I love her car and I never get to drive it.

Happy 4th bitches

was it a coupe or sedan? is the SRT8 modded? because stock for stock the M3 should be those 2 plus cars ahead. Either way nice kill, I ran into one and it wouldn't line up with me on the freeway and tried to do a fly by, once I stopped his flybly it was me pulling slowly, but with him still ahead.

Great kill Jay! Those 300C SRT8's are way cooler than the Challengers in my opinion. Any future mod plans for either of the cars? What kind of power does the Vette make with that setup ( and why can't I remember when you put a heads/cam setup on it, lol)?

Nice Jason. Those impromptu races are always fun. Nice kill. I bet the guy in the M3 was
surprised that he got his *** handed to him.

I've had two M3's. One E46 ('02) and one E36 ('98).

Yea, her car has a few mods. Livernois custom tune, CAI, ported TB and ah, that's it.

The E46's usually run 105-106 traps and I am sure her car would turn a mid/high 12 @ 110-112 so I was the favored car in a straight line.

Now if it was an 08 or 09, whenever they updated them, I would have still ran him but I'm sure I would have had to go get my car.

The C6 is all done and for sale. I want an F/I LS3 M6 or H/C C6Z.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...-kooks-fs.html

My neighbor has a Challenger (R/T) and as I was leaving with her car again yesterday, he was all talk about how he would beat her car but then when it came down to it, he turned right AFTER I turned left waiting for him...

You can't even see my C6 behind that thing!

Let me know dude, that would be cool. I could care less if you won, it would still be fun. I am trying to get her to buy a G8 next but she really loves the 300. Whatever. Thanks buddy.

Hell no, people want stock C6's to mod....WTF? I had the 1st guy come look at it and I took him for a drive since he ain't driving my car and he says it was too much car. *****. It was a nerdy guy and he showed up in a new BMW and actually asked me,....swear to God......" What will it do 0-60? "

Needless to say he wasn't a fan of the cam lope either.

He's very obviously not a car guy.

I love guys that worry about 0 to 60 times. Just tell them 1.4 seconds...0 to 60 feet...and it hangs the wheels.
