so i was pulling off the expressway tonight, and i noticed some camaro taillights in front of me. i pulled up and it was indeed a camaro. saw that it had some kind of exhaust system on it. so we both turned right onto the main road and hes in front of me, so i get in the other lane and pass him. he stays close behind me in the other lane and we pull up to a stoplight with nobody around. we look at eachother he gives me a little rev and i rev right back. he honks his horn 3 times and we both launch hard. we were pretty much bumper to bumper all through 1st and 2nd gear, although i beat him at the launch by alittle. after getting up to about 95 we both let off and coast. after slowing down alittle, he puts his blinker on and we pull into this parking lot. we talked about our cars for awhile. his was a 93 black on black z28 with flowmasters and an intake. he had some z06 rims on it and a red stripe going down the side. looked really good. it was one of the best races cause we were even with each other pretty much the whole time and looking over and seeing a camaro going 90mph right next to you is awesome.

i had him by a couple feet when we let off. only cause i got him on the launch. it was a close race though.

my trans am is stock, a4. ive only had it for about a month. but i do have a borla exhaust system and k&n cai waiting to go on

Sounds good! Those should prove some decent gains. I think GMHTP picked up like 25 hp with a CAI and catback on their A4 formula (and their previous A4 Z28 project).

wow thats great. i was expecting more like 5hp from the CAI and 10hp from the catback. but hey, 25hp sounds great to me.

I know my brother just put those on his 1994 Z28 and went from 97.X-98.0 mph on a cold day to mid 99 mph on a hot day, just for example.

you should get GMMG instead of borla... or get a cutout

i would have gotten GMMG but i found a borla for pretty cheap, so i bought it. the borla i bought came with a cut out also.

i want to get a set of long tube headers cause ive heard lt1s with LT headers and a cutout, and they sound soo mean
