got beat I was driving down 146 in LaPorte yesterday in my 08 z06 with a small cam and I rolled up on a silver z06, not sure what year 01-04 but we got on it at about 70 mph and he left me saying dammmmm. Does any one know or seen this car? I would like to know who worked on his car.
i see you live in texas there is a really good vette shop in wylie tx called lg motorsports. you can search them on youtube and see some cars they work on. They can turn your ls7 into a monster...

556 rwp with a small set 204 valve ls6 heads. took the car to the track and was going to make a couple 1/8 mile passes to see if the car would hook, and see my 60' time. Car didnt hook in first and ran 104 mph in the 1/8 and got kicked out of the track for no roll cage. Now the cage is in and as soon as it cools down a bit i will make a full pass.

There have been small cammed Z06's that only made a little over 500 to the ground, so there could have been a difference of 50 rwhp between them. Then factor in different dynos, different weather conditions (when dynoed), and driving and you can easily get a beating.
Rage Z06, sounds like you have a nasty setup! 104 in the 1/8 is freaking no joke. What point do they boot you for no cage in the 1/8 mile?
