I would be a little hesitant in buying a mazdaspeed 3. The engines have a habit off falling out and blowing up even lightly modded. I would get a dodge caliber srt4 American made and modded 550+whp on stock internals.

I would be way more hesitant to buy a piece of **** Dodge Caliber.

I'd have to agree with that. Anything outside of the Viper or Challenger in Dodge's camp is better left alone...

I see three problems with a Caliber and an MS3 that are unavoidable.
1) Ugly
2) FWD
3) Ugly

No, but honestly, I don't think I'd even consider buying either of those cars.
I can't see myself ever being in the market for something...like that...

WTF? that thing is a piece of ****, it is ugly as *****, heavy as ****, understeers like none other and is worse in every single category then the neon it replaces. Interior would benefit if it was made of garbage can plastic, also it has LESS interior room then the neon.

Oh boy thats huge plus, an american company owns Chrysler too right? not an indian one?

Honestly they have been selling brand NEW for 17k and they still sit on the lots. $5,000 off on a piece of **** is still paying 17k for a piece of ****

One of the worse overall cars of the decade. Ill take a non mazdaspeed 3 over the srt caliber anyday.

I would be too, a buddy had one and had some light mods on it cant remember specifics but had tranny issues and ate some valves, right after he got it back it was missing real bad...he traded it in on an 04 GTO...that was totaled and now he just bought an 09 cobalt ss...i think this car will take a lot more abuse than the MS3 ever did. and with 100k mile warranty and stage kits that is pretty hard to beat...

How is the Modding goes for cobalt ss.
What's potential whp with basic boltons n tune before one starts upgrading turbos.

my buddy bought one just like yours yesterday, going to check it out at halftime of the colts game. so he has pretty rare car it looks like. he is going with the stage 1 too, when is that available and what does it entail?

its already out.
he shoulda had them throw it on before he took it home

new sensors and a reflash (tune)
good for about +30hp +40tq

about $500 for the kit and 2 hours labor for dealer install.

what? didn't you hear? someone claimed to run a 13.2 with a stock 350z. now of course they all do. and 370z's run 12's because they're faster than the 350z's

That makes sense! While were letting the truth out... i admit it, LS1 GTOs are almost as fast as LS2 ones, 50 flywheel HP is not that big of a difference at all, and its only cause the LS2 goats can rev higher! lmfao

k i couldn't find much info about it, only like one article about how they let people test drive them and there are zero vids to be found. he wants to wait till after winter to have it put on and i would proly want to get accustomed to my car stock anyway. are there any plans for a stage 2 and 3?
