How long did that race last? We let off at about the 1/4 mile mark right? And we started our roll after the begining of the normal dig spot....sooo.....like, more than 1/8th, but less than 1/4? Your car kept up well too. Then again, you have ran quicker and almost as fast as the mullet...and I lost to the mullet....your car moves well for the mods.

Sorry I missed your question earlier, I was not ignoring you. GM has compensation factors for your fuel trims based on intake air temperature. The IAT sensor in the factory location sits right above the radiator. Say you run into the grocery store for 10 minutes to go buy something. Now you come back after and now your IAT's read 120 degrees when it is really only 80 degrees out. The computer thinks the temperature getting into your engine is 120 degrees so it subtracts the amount of fuel (hotter air less dense, need less fuel to maintain stoichemetric AFR of 14.7:1). I have seen my wideband go very very lean when the IAT sensor heat soaks; 17 + AFR and the car runs like crap. This is mostly a problem when you are running Open loop speed density.
Since your IAT sensor is in your MAF I guess your tuner would just have to compensate for the higher temps. Oh ya dont unplug your IAT sensor or it will read -33 degrees and your car will not even run, or it will be really really rich. Trust me I tried it haha.

and then you will want to sell the car after a few month. 3 speed + 4:10's is JJJUUNK. my buddy did that sway in his 00 ss and less then a year later he sold the car because it was no longer any fun to drive on the street.

That's the truth! 3 speed autos tend to be the death knell for street cars.

now where do you think aznmuscle should be say in that same 4k da because that's what we have right now in az
For argument sakes say he is around the hp number you say 420hp(I think he should be higher than that) thats 9 more than you so what on street tires, full weight 12.75 at BEST (again for arguments sake)
I am not by anymeans saying that he "should" be losing or that I "should be winning" but I do believe that it would be close races not just a whippin, but at the end I do believe he should pull on me
It really has me interested because in that same da as you I cut the same time as you on 235 street tires rolling out the 60' with my 338hp (yeah I know) and run much quicker time in little above 4k da on my nittos, so to be saying "blowing these other cars away" I do not agree.
and yes I do know that your time vs mph do not jive so there was some spinnage, but as in his run with me street tire vs my nitto so.....do you see how I'm looking at this?

I know exactly what you are saying. If you guys were roll racing it would be less of an issue if someone can bang some gears with an M6. Auto cars that run 115 mph run anywhere from 11.5-12 with decent 60'. I think my car with good tires should run low 12's or high 11's with a little better air. I would think AZN's car should be making more power than me as I have non ported 243's with a 224 cam. I would think he should trap 117 or more in similar DA if he can bang the gears out and get a decent launch. I just think roll racing is all about mph if you dont spin like crazy. But the driver in an M6 car is very critical.

I was out racing though down Grand. Bagged me a Scian xA with a family of four in it. I didn't think he was serious when he revved but he really went for it. Too bad even the Dodge truck blew him out of the water.
Just look for my thread. The trucks were out to get me last night for some reason. O.o
