It definately wasn't anywhere close to a new one. A new one could be set on cruise control and if a tail wind comes along that would give it enough to beat you in a race.

So I'm on my way home for my inlaws house just rolling easy at about 40, then this all silver viper pulls up next to me car was beautiful looked like a newer one like a 08-09. He gives me a rev and I slow down no honks we go from about thirty, we stay together for a little then he walks away from me. He didn't walk away that hard though I have been walked harder by built camaros. So he gives me about three lengths we come to a dead stop on the freeway there was no traffic Like this was meant to happen. He flicks his lights three times and I take off and he takes off hard right behind me but that fool could not catch me. I mean I could still see him about that same three lengths in my mirror and then I think he let out because he just vanished after a bit. So I slow all the way back down to like thirty so that he could catch up and I could ask what year the car was and the power output etc. But he wouldn't get up next to me I rolled my windows down and waved him ahead but he wouldn't get up next to me again was he embarassed that he could not catch the fbody. I mean he gave me 3 lengths and my car is no pig I mean I make pretty good power its was just funny I didnt not expect that at all though. I thought he would of walked me down those cars put out like 600hp to the crank right. I'm just right there at 400 rwhp so he has a good bit on me I assume he also should be lighter than me I wish I could of asked him about the car but he was being a lame.
Sounds like fun. Rayton huh? Hell im just about 30min. south of you in Drexel.
but Im in kc all the time, maybe we can get a good highway roll in sometime.
There's no point in a dig, unless you'll be out at kcir in a few weeks. I just got my monster clutch in yesterday, so I'll have to break it in before I head out there. Best Iv'e done out there is 12.0 at 114, but that was on my stock clutch, Im hoping for 11's now. but anyways congrats on the Kill..

I told you it is a lot different I lived there for the last six years I didn't really like it to much if you are into racing and are not a ricer thats not the bizness cali is rice land

Ya I'd have to say it was an older version. The 08 is very similiar only the rear panel and hood r really different. Most people seem to think 600hp is underrated also its belived to be in the same neighborhood as the zr1. This one with 13k on it dynoed 548hp at the wheels.

Whats going on Redbird555 up KCMO I'm doing ok down in Dallas Texas. The Viper you ran is someone I know he thinks a Viper the king of the street. I put one on him to and he got all mad about it. Now I am going to call and talk **** to him about it. Glad to see you got the car all worked out. And if you go over to youtube and type in RMSMAN the first race Vader VS Bluethunder that me. Let me know what you think and my # still the same

No way its a 08-09 because theyre freaking fast and they dont look 99% like the ealier gen with 510hp. They are capable of putting a 130mph+ and will smoke a 400rwhp fbody in any gear even reverse.. I think it must have been the 510hp one. I believe you could hold on one given the best race for you and average driver the viper.
