ZX6 death
Let me start by saying, I know what bikes run, and I had no impression of winning against this bike.
Me - LQ9, bolt ons, cam, 3600 stall (398 rwhp, 395 torque)
Him - Stock
Basically, just went to hang out at my friends house, and his room mate just bought a new ZX6 (looked new, not sure on year). So, he is a novice driver with it too.
My buddies know I just got my car back from having the work done, so they want me to run the bike, even though everyone knew the bike would come out on top.
So we head to a 2 mile stretch of semi-abandoned road (only the garbage trucks are seen from time to time). I marked out a point about 2,000 ft from the overpass which was the finish line.
So, we are side by side, and I honk it off. I let the stall get up to speed and let it try to hook a little before I really mash it. Well... street tires and 400 tq don't mix, so I completely blew the tires off at around the 60 ft. point. He was still launching behind me (new rider), after letting out for a second, the nittos grabbed, and I took off, and he followed suit. He says it took him up to 110 mph to catch me, and just as he exited the underpass, he said he was doing around 160ish. I didn't get to look down at my speedo because I was paying attention to the road.
This is all I have

You can see he was starting to pull me pretty good

Ahh, I didn't want to run on street tires lol
You were giving some pretty good runs last night, all things considered. I was surprised at the lack of people there honestly.
My Mickey Thompsons are in the mail though, so I'm really waiting for those to get some true 1/4 mile numbers.
I'm going down October 2nd (two weeks basically) for a grudge match with a turbo 350z

Are you planning on putting any serious tire under there?
Also, i know Sean from Top Gear was driving his car that night, and it normally nails a 11.7-11.8 (I think), and it was running a 12.07... so figure to pick up that E/T and the related MPH when it gets a little cooler, it should be all good.

Plans call for a Hooiser QTP tire, but nothing serious since I still have a 10 bolt out back. I'll show you the graph next time I see you...you can see the AFR is rich right where i am making power, and at 5500 I was at 10.5:1. So there is lots more left there. I wish I could have data logged my runs to see if I was even getting my full timing out of it with the heat and whatnot.

Any mixture less than 14.7 to 1 is considered to be a rich mixture, any more than 14.7 to 1 is a lean mixture - given perfect (ideal) "test" fuel (gasoline consisting of solely n-heptane and iso-octane)
And 14.7 is stoichiometric whatever you call it.

Edit: cleaned up my language
