Stock Camaro vs Stock SRT-10 1500 Truck
I was heading back from midas, my friend was putting some flow masters on his '02 tundra while heading back to his house this silver truck rolled up next to me and close enough for my mirrors to touch his door.We were rolling about 35 and i looked up to see his passenger staring me down but soon after he goes wot i hit it at the same time and start pulling car lengths after car lengths ending up with about 3-4 car lengths.
i shut down a short time later due to a light coming up and the guy does a ricer flyby on me

yea, those things are all for show. Detuned from the version that goes in the viper, and they weigh what at least 6k lbs. either way, always a good kill when an ******* gets put in their place.

Good kill. Always nice to hear about a Dodge gettin put down. The SRT 10 does have a Viper motor but its the lowest grade. Even Dodge claims they run a 14.30 in the quarter. Horrible for a 500 horse motor, even pushin that much weight. Lol my 1500 GMC runs faster than that.

You could be right on the mid 13's. 14.30 was just somethin i read in a Dodge brochure. I've never had the pleasure of puttin a two door down but the four door version goes down easily to a 14.20 truck. Anyway, it just proves that flywheel power isn't everything. F bodies put it down much better.

Dodge claimed they made 500 hp but who knows, they may only peak 500 for a few rpms just to validate the number. If they really are 500hp they should be faster than 13's. I've never seen a two door run on the track but I've witnessed two or three four door versions being incapable of getting out of the 14's. Wonderful prey for a stock f body.

they dont make an extended cab in the body style of the srt10. im pretty sure its a true 505hp viper motor, they wouldnt waste money making parts to detune it. a friend in high school had one, definitely a cool truck but not that quick.
the new sierra denalis run low 14's with 403 hp, im sure an SRT10 reg cab with a 6 speed could crack mid 13's.
