I was trying to get at the comment you made in post #12, you clearly asked why would a SLOW ls1 race a beast 5.0 with a blower. i was simply saying anything could happen on the street like the mustang spinning and the camaro hooking.... the 4.6 mustang only beat my buddies lt1 by a car and a 1/2. it was just an example.

congrats hahah your buddys twin turbo cobra beat an lt1 with gears and stall holy **** i never thought that would happen.....

So let me get this right, a H/C/BLOWER Mustang beat an A4, vert Camaro with an lid and exahust...... so? Who was expecting any different?

Should I post video's of my H/C TA pulling carrier deck lengths on stock 5.0's? Call me crazy I just don't find it entertaining *shrug*

I know a specific 5.0 that makes just north of 500... why would you spend thae money to supercharge only to get around 300?

I ask the same question time and time again. Alot of 5.0 owners have no idea how to make their car fast.

The 5.0 has the stock iron longblock with cam size robbing stock pistons, crappy heads, 302cid, and alittle boost against an ALL ALUMINUM 346cid motor with far superior everything. Like I said the match wasn't all that lopsided.

BTW your TA wouldn't pull a stock 5.0 that much.

Dude you are kinda being a douche right now... The numbers that ss ran, i ran stock... and i have never seen a fox run that good stock, which i may be wrong but im pretty sure i heard an s trim when he was staging. I am NOT biased just being realistic... I love foxbodies and for their time they ran great...

On another note, a heads/cam/intake/blown 5.0 should make well over 500rwhp, you know this. But I lol'd that a vert z with a cutout would bother racing, sad.

How is it the stock iron longblock when its HCI? How much is a little boost?

And Stock stalled auto with headers and a lid + vert.... wow.

Ya this was totally a race...

I guess i should run my Cam spray car vs a full exhaust vert 5.0 gt.

I dont think bus lengths would do it justice... Not sure trains would either.

fox bodies still run great. arguably the best stock suspension drag cars ever made. im not trying to start a war or anythin. the stock f-body set up with its "single ladder bar" set up works pretty good as well and no one can take anything away from what ls motors are capable of. people are still gettin it done with small block fords and chevys. heres a vid of the godfather of drag radial racing gettin it done with less than 400 inches in a small block ford. stock suspension, no wheelie bars and mickey thompson et street radials. long live the foxbody.
