yea i second this question.

Also 12.7 for a bolt on Jeep? That seems really odd because my friends SRT8 ran a 12.9 (dead stock had about 230 miles on it at the time) and when he ran a full exhausted and tuned one on the street it was a world of a difference between the two, from as dig as well as every roll they ran the Exhausted and tuned one pulled immediatly and KEPT pulling

You are forgetting this is in 30* temperatures in NE Oklahoma where the DA is usually pretty bad. Also, the only time this person has probably ran the Jeep SRT8 at the track is during the "Midnights" (yes there is only 1 solid 1/4 mile track in NE Oklahoma) where anyone can run and the track prep is horrible with beaters out there leaking and driving through the water box bringing it down the track.

don't know... the jeep is AWD so if anything crappy prep shouldn't affect it nearly as much as every other car or truck out there. Not calling BS, guys says he's ran his truck multiple times then, being the internet, we can either call him a bald faced liar or take him at his word. I'll take his word.

Was just trying to get some more information on just what his mods and weight where is all: there's an explanation hidden somewhere.

Nope I'm dead serious. Just gutted cats. I must have a factory freak. It could be that the 4X4 helps. Don't know for sure really. I think the LT's are actually faster to be honest.

No for real one time my family rented an LT trailblazer from alamo and my good buddy with an SS decided to run me for fun, he was pissed as hell when i pulled away from him!

Also the OP doesnt have cats and on IRON block motors those tremendously limit the power being put out.

There is a hint in the post right above yours. Its a really subtle hint but its there pretty easy to miss though.

I can one-up that, I'm in the 425 area code! And I do believe that was a badass Buick motor, too.

I think I am going to cut the stock muffler off tonight. I know that is holding some air flow back. The thing is a big ol turd.

I'll be in Tulsa with the HB tonight, for those who wanted to know. I'll be at Twin Peaks at 8. Rudy is having his Bday party there.
