the heads are not the problem. 4 valve motors in general do not need big cams to make big power. accufabs cougar makes 2500hp with less than .500 lift. you cant use pushrod thinkin when dealing with mod motors.

that was 2.8 upper only. SAE numbers. fat a/f ratio 11.3 . 18 degrees of timing. car had every bolt on imaginable tho. longtubes included. some cars make the power some dont. mine just happens to make good power. even in its current state.

Very true. I honestly believe it has a lot to do with cam degreeing from the factory. Just my opinion though. Some are degreed better than others I think.

I'm with you.. I call bull **** on the cams and 500Rwhp.. If he truly has that he would have MURDERED the OP from a 30 roll.. I know how I fare against 500+Rwhp Cobras from a roll with me on motor and it isn't pretty.. And I would walk away from the OP pretty quick.
