hard to bog it, rev hold and either slip or jump off the clutch depending on car and hold on while the awd grips and shoot your forward.
sure you can bog it but i havent seen a good driver do that.

Most clutches both stock and aftermarket handle just dumping a lot better then slipping. But i agree i have not seen a AWD stick car bog a launch unless its new to its owner.

FP green bolts to the stock manifold and it has more all round power then a gt35 or 40. As you mnetioned it is very common with autocrossers for this reason.

I've seen it at least 20 times. New clutch and the owner thinks a synchro went out. It's a 2 minute adjustment to the clutch pedal. That's all.

Not nearly as much power as a 35 or 40 series turbo. The appeal of stock framed aftermarket turbos are the cost, ease of installation, good spool and stealth factor. It's plug n' play. Tune it for E85 or race gas and you're running 11 second 1/4 miles. Pop the hood and it looks bone stock.

Not nearly as much peak horsepower but they have A LOT more low end grunt, and yes everything else you stated is dead on lol

Good to know I'm not clueless since I've been running an FP Green on my own car for 2+ years.

Now that is one clean looking EVO sir.

My buddy is selling his 05 EVO now as he picked up a LS2 goat, but he was going to go FP red and cams on it before. EVOs always amaze me with there responsiveness to a few light mods.

sounds to me like the evo driver is a turbo newbie. He needs to learn how to no lift shift that thing so that he holds boost. Once he learns to do that they you may want to start looking into more mods.

Thanks man. If I keep the car I'll probably end up going with something like an FP red too.
