Default LT1 Camaro Z28 vs 2 Honda S2000's with VIDEOS

Ok, this is my first race(s) with this car. I had a LS1 and sold it to get a bike and now have bought another Z28, albeit a LT1, but now have a Z28 AND a bike. Anyways, I have two friends with S2000's. One is a 2002 and completely stock. I used to own a S2000 and had intake, header, exhaust and a 75 shot and it moved out pretty well. My Z28 is an A4 and is basically stock with 3.73 gears. I say basically because the only other mod is a off brand muffler which does nothing. Ok, first race:
It was me and the stock 02 S2000 and to be honest, i thought itd be damn close because they trap around 100mph stock, as does a LT1. We go from 60-110 before i let off and i pull a couple buslengths. And in case anyone knows about S2000s well, yes he was in VTec. Here is the video. By the way, the cameraman said he was pulling back a little bit but didnt realize i had let off but hadnt hit the brakes yet.

Next race is against my other friend's 2000 S2000 with AEM cold air intake, 63mm test pipe and a 63mm exhaust. Just for reference, this is the modded S2000 vs the stock S2000 video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWYB7hXdJkM
The modded S2000 beat the stock S2000 pretty handily, roughly 3 cars from 45-120.
This time i definitely thought id be around even with the modded S2000 because hes been to the track a few times and has always trapped 102-103. We raced from 45-100 before he missed 4th but it was obvious i was walking him pretty good and had 2-3 cars on him. Here is that video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riPd6WqeKHY
All in all it was fun and i was pretty impressed with my Z28. Id say the 3.73s make a pretty big difference and if i had to guess id say i must trap somewhere around 104ish which is kinda suprising to me to be so modless. Either wey, we wanted to do it now because i have a 4000 stall on the way and will be ordering longtubes and exhaust next week, in which i will kill them.

Good kills, glad there is video.

Off topic:
"2,+4 sprockets"

My god you must like to shift. I had -1/+2 on my 600 and hated having to shift to fifth to cruise comfortably in town. That, and a corrected 155 is all she wrote. On my 1000, I rolled 1st or 2nd gear in town at all times... with 186++ indicated without a hassle

good kill

But you second video...well....Girl on girl situations are lame. It's like watching 17 second Hondas drag race each other. There's alot of whining and moaning and buzzing but nothing really happens. What you need is a big, solid, thumping, throbbing piece of musclecar to shove itself inside and in between and then leave a residue of unburnt gas all over everything

Haha yea imports are definitely not my thing but the s2000 is pretty quick for it only being 2 liters and 2.2 in the AP2 s2ks instance. And yea, I'm around 7-8 rpms on the highway with the bike but the drastic sprocket change made a HUGE difference. I destroy my friends 06 750 and beat a stock 05 r1 and was even with an exhaust/PC 06 r1. But my top speed is around 152.

only 2.0L eh? I can go to the gas station and buy a 2.0L of mountain dew and it would be the same size as the S2000 engine but a hell alot cheaper

Nice kills! I thought those 2000's rode out harder than that. I've heard of them trapping 100-102 in stock trim. Maybe there a lot better from a dig than they are from a roll.

They do run 100-102mph in the 1/4, but that's driven PERFECTLY... average driver, I'll give the F-body the nod every time. Good kill OP

Good kill OP

I raced a S2000 once; it offered me some kind of resistance, seriously. I guess it was modded because I wasnt passing him like a rocket to tell the truth. Only put 2-3cars on a 3-4th roll..

I would probably go back if Opti's didn't scare me so much. lol. I miss the low-end torque my LT1 had.
