I mean you add a "50 shot" (wtf?) on the GT and he'd be walking him too. His car without the 50shot (Maybe even with) isn't even making 300rwhp. I don't know why he is talking so much crap. My car isn't making 300 either, but I've never tried to say I can take bikes. Nor would I can any car equal or better than mine "worthless" Someone didn't inform him only LS1 fbody owners are allowed to call 2v GTs worthless

jesus christ. ive been reading these threads for a while now. Ke^in, why dont you stop flaming people. untill you drive a car that can get outa the 13s, who can you talk **** to? all you do is say, well this car did this, and that car did this. i have seem more threads close because of you in the past month then i have since i joined. no one gives a **** what a 2v runs, because, well, they are a freaking 2v. and this is LS1 tech not 2vtech. if you want to preach how good they are and bash other peoples kill stores, then go do that on your other forums man.

this might seem a little harsh, but man. i got nothing against you and i dont know you, but im getting a little annoying seeing your name pop up in every thread with nothing nice to say. and i know you are going to say that he started it by saying 2vs are worthless, but you know what this is ls1tech, and im sure he was excited. he does drive an lt1 with not too many mods. and he is pretty correct. even other 2v drivers know they aint **** to mess with unless boosted.

MAYBE im outa line here, and maybe ill get banned. my only real issue is seeing a 2v discussion pop up in every thread and the flaming is getting worse and worse here.

I have seen PLENTY of boosted 2 Vs that will get their **** smashed. There is a Turbo 2V about an hour away from me that supposedly eats LS1s...... He won't come run me though.

Equal? wow... youre delusional I have not lost to a Mustang, I know there are faster mustangs than my car no doubt, but for the ones ive raced whether it was a 09 GT or 04 GT with headers, intake and exhaust I take em pretty easily. I have intake, headers, exhaust etc yada yada... I even ran a couple 5.0s that they said were "built" and they didnt beat me unless you count me stepping on the brake and them doing a flyby and thinking they are cool by putting the hazards on.

I was saying the only good thing ford did was the rear end compared to the piece 10-bolt I have... Whats funny is that the Camaro and T/A have what 2 models? in the v8 category? I cant even count how many Mustangs or different versions of them are and whats sad is the mustang boys need boost to keep up with the LT1/LS1s. but go ahead and buy your 60 thousand supercharged mustang and get beat by my 2 thousand dollar LT1 with a 3 thousand dollar supercharger...

man, im done arguing with Mustang owners, ive been in this arguement way too many times and came out on top... its like arguing with a door ****. Jesus

not trying to stir up the pot here, just wondering what kind of times 09 gt run? because i heard they're pretty stout and an equal match for ls1 stock for stock

These are specs for a 2010 Mustang GT

top speed 239.74 kph / 149 mph
0 - 60 mph 5.2 seconds
0 - 100 mph 12.7 seconds
0 - 1/4 mile 14.0 seconds

The new SS is like 13.1 sec 1/4 mile almost a solid second better

wow 12.8 with bolt ons is really impresive
i'm just curious with the 09 GT that you beat, because i heard they're a match for LS1 and you mentioned you lost to 1, but nice kill anyway

Oh really? Even Motor Trend magazine, with some of the worst wheel men in the business came through with this:

In only 4.9 seconds, the Mustang GT is moving at a speed of 60 mph. Compared with last year's Bullitt, a car that donated its more potent powertrain and rear axle to the 2010 GT, that time represents a 0.1-second improvement, in other words, the quickest sprint Motor Trend has ever coaxed out of a stock Mustang GT. Less than nine ticks later, at 13.5 seconds, the GT eclipses the quarter mile at a speed of 104.2 mph.

The current 4.6L 3V Mustang GT is a solid mid-13 second car. With a decent tune put into the computer, it becomes a low-13 second car.
