I agree most "ricers" dont know much about cars but im not sure you can even color inside the damn lines.
You don't seem much brighter IMO. If he is brown I would say you are a light shade of grey.

Wow. Way many teenagers in here have been watching Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Then they go put on some fart cans and stickers and call it a day.

Car won't be like this for long
"Pouring 10k into a 4 banger" wisely would walk a stock/or lightly modified ls1 very hard. Civic + K swap + bolt ons + 100 shot + k pro tune=350ish whp in a car weighing anywhere from 1800-2600lbs assuming it's an fg, eg, or ek hatch or coupe. The 06+ are fat turds and can't run on k pro yet. And that's not bench racing...there are cars out there making that power on that set up.

And "ricer" is a mentality thing...not the type of car. I've seen some camaros and mustangs as nasty as I have seen civics and other various Hondas. Granted you see more riced out Hondas than camaros and mustangs, but don't kid yourself, they are out there.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just drive a Honda, I know Hondas and their capabilities. And I am fully aware that mine is slow, and therefore drive it for the vehicle it was made to be and nothing more.

haha it's all good man. I mean I've owned the car for 4 years and it now has 145k miles on with me changing literally only tires, battery, and plugs/plug wires. All while maintaining 30+ mpg and the mentality of "this is a honda civic si...it is not meant to be driven fast in a straigh line, so don't act like it." I've said it before and I've said it again, when it's time financially to go fast, I'll buy an LSX car.

My RSX (same motor as a new Si for all you hillbillies out there) ran 14.2 @ 100 with an intake and a flashed ecu. Intake manifold, header, 4.7 f.d put it well into the 13s. And this was a stock looking, stock sounding car with full interior. With cams and a 2.4 block a stock LS1 WILL get beat, especially from a roll. And as far as "pouring 10K into a 4 cylinder" goes... you would be amazed how far 3k goes with an Evo. Dont get me wrong, I love my Z28. But i'm an automotive enthusiast, not a fanboy.

Did they make you put a 12 point and chute on the car?

At least the honda looks good when its slow. More than I can say for Mustangs. Hell, you guys were the easiest targets. When I sold my 5.0 I had a Newyears style celebration LOL. I'm just saying... Technology is catching up with displacement.

You are completely right! Gosh, I think I am going to put my Mustang up for sale. That way I can buy me a RSX and not only beat LS1s but look good while I do it!

So tell me, how much money is needed to get my new RSX to beat a LS1?

If Camaros had blowers, they'd beat Cobras.

Come on man, we all know the first thing done to ANY car you buy is one of those Hypertech chips for your computer.
